Comparative Research On The Offensive And Defensive Ability Of Outstanding Small Forwards At Home And Abroad In 2016-2017 CBA Regular Season

With the rapid development of the world basketball,intense physical confrontation is becoming more and more frequent.High confrontation,high speed,high strength and high skill have become the mainstream trend of basketball.The skills of basketball players in every position are becoming more and more comprehensive.The era of full dependence on the center has passed.For a long time,the development of basketball in our country relies too much on the center players.The training of the forwards players is not paid enough attention to.In previous world competitions,the players in the forwards position of the European and American basketball team play an important role in the team,especially small forwards.As the team’s main scorer,small forwards play an important role in the offensive and defensive tactics of the team.The strength of small forwards can often affect the outcome of the game.China Basketball Association is the cradle of the growth of China’s elite athletes.In recent years,CBA clubs have been introducing foreign athletes and training young players continuously.In the league,there are also a number of relatively outstanding small forwards like Zhou Peng,Ding Yanyuhang,Gu Quan and so on.They are also gradually emerging in the world competitions,but there is still a gap between the young and the world-class level of their physical quality and professional skills.Comparing the technical statistics on personal offensive and defensive ability of Chinese and foreign outstanding small forwards in CBA regular season by watching the 2016-2017 season CBA regular season game video.We can find out the gaps and deficiencies between Chinese outstanding small forwards and foreign aid small forwards,which provides the references for the selection,training and improvement of personal skills of Chinese small forwards.The research shows:(1)There are no significant differences in the height,weight,age and body Kettle index between the excellent small forwards in the CBA regular season.Chinese outstanding small forwards are younger and take advantage of height,but their physical resistance ability is not as good as foreign aid small forwards.(2)Foreign aid small forward’s average shooting opportunities and average points are more than domestic small forwards and they have a strong ability to end and kill the game.In the relatively close playing time,foreign aid small forwards have more efficiency of scoring.(3)When shooting outside,domestic outstanding small forwards are used to catching the ball and stopping to jump shot with off-ball and cover.Foreign aid small forwards have the strong ability to control the ball and are good at dribbling and stopping to jump shot.In shooting area,domestic and foreign outstanding small forwards have significant differences in Zone 3,Zone 7,Zone 8 and Zone 11.The number of shots in the middle and near areas is quite different.Domestic outstanding small forwards are used to attacking from the right way,and the frequency of attacking from other areas is relatively less.Foreign outstanding aid small forwards are obviously more excellent than domestic small forwards in the number of two-pointers shots and hits.Foreign aid small forwards have more comprehensive personal abilities of attacking and long-range shooting.Foreign aid small forwards get used to layup more while domestic small forwards are used to cutting in the basket and catching the ball.(4)Chinese and foreign outstanding small forwards have significant differences in the number of layups and breakthrough with separating ball.Foreign aid small forwards have strong breakthrough abilities.They can take the initiatives to find physical contact during the confrontation.The timing to deal with the ball after the breakthrough is reasonable and their pass is also concealed.(5)Foreign aid small forwards have a broad field of vision to observe the field teammates.They are also good at breaking to attract the defenses to create opportunities for teammates and have stronger assists ability.Domestic small forwards take less initiatives to find physical contact during the confrontation and they are weaker at making fouls than foreign aid small forwards.The numbers of grabbing offensive rebounds of foreign aid small forwards is higher than the domestic small forwards.The domestic small forwards lack the awareness of grabbing rebounds,enthusiasm and the secondary attack ability.(6)In defense,the number of grabbing defensive rebounds and stealing of domestic outstanding small forwards is less than foreign aid small forwards.The The ability to prejudge the rebounds in the field of domestic outstanding small forwards is inferior to foreign aid small forwards.They also lack the enthusiasm of striving for the ball and their blocking out is not solid enough.Foreign aid small forwards’ defending speed of moving is faster and their defence is much more aggressive.Foreign aid small forwards have more dominance in the defensive confrontation.The number of averages block shots of domestic outstanding small forwards is more than foreign aid small forwards and their number of weaker than foreign aid small forwards in offensive and defensive ability.The main gaps lie in the personal score,the number of rebounds,assists,steals and so on.
