A Contrastive Study On The Offensive And Defensive Ability Of CBA And NBA Excellent Small Forward

With the development of basketball technology and tactics,the competition rhythm is faster and faster,and the dependence on the traditional center is gradually reduced.In the modern basketball system,small forward,as the most comprehensive player in the field,plays a more and more important role and gradually develops into the core of attack and defense of the team.With the retirement of Wang Zhizhi,Yao Ming and other outstanding centers,the overall competitiveness of the Chinese men’s basketball team has been declining.At the same time,due to the neglect of the training of frontline players,our country has been criticized for its position as a small forward.Although a number of excellent young players have appeared in recent years,they are not really all-round,and they still have not got rid of the common problem of lacking the ability to hold the ball,which is far from the world-class level.Since its establishment in 1995,CBA has gone through 24 years.With the hard work of the contributors of basketball industry from all walks of life,through continuous reform and development,CBA has made outstanding achievements and become the most influential basketball event in China,providing a cradle for the cultivation of basketball talents in China.NBA,as the world’s top basketball league,gathers the best players in the world.The comparison of attack and defense ability between CBA and NBA’s excellent small forwards will help to find out the shortcomings of China’s small forwards and provide guidance for future training and development.Research methods: This paper mainly uses the methods of literature,expert interview,video observation and mathematical statistics to analyze the basic situation(age,ball age,height,weight,arm span,ketole index)and attack ability(scoring ability,attack efficiency,assist and pass ability,breakthrough ability,fast attack ability,attack rebounding ability and error situation)of CBA and NBA excellent small forwards Compared with defense ability(Defense rebounding ability,competition ability,defense shooting ability,defense foul situation),find out the ability difference behind the data difference.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)in terms of basic conditions,CBA small forward has significant differences in height and arm span compared with NBA;there is no significant difference in weight and ctole index,but there is still a gap in muscle circumference and strength in CBA small forward.(2)The scoring ability of CBA small forward is worse than that of NBA small forward,its overall shooting shots are insufficient,and there is no significant difference in the hit rate between the two.However,compared with NBA players,CBA small forward’s contribution in freethrow and three-point shot is relatively small.(3)There is no significant difference in the efficiency of CBA small forward assists and passes compared with NBA,but its total number of assists and passes is less,reflecting the lack of CBA small forward assists and passes.(4)Compared with NBA,CBA small forward’s breakthrough ability is poor,and the average breakthrough times are obviously insufficient.It is necessary to improve the ability of dominating the ball,combining the ball,breaking through the single track and ending the ball.(5)Compared with NBA,CBA small forward’s fast break ability is poor,which is reflected in the fewer launches,the unclear fast break ideas,and the lack of one dozen one ability at the end of the fast break.(6)In rebounds,there is no significant difference between offensive rebounds CBA and NBA;in defensive rebounds,CBA small forwards are poor,mainly reflected in the lack of positive position and keen on rebounds.(7)In terms of defense ability,CBA small forward uses less offensive defense than NBA,defense skill and enthusiasm need to be strengthened,and the opportunity and strategic effect of defending fouls are relatively poor.
