Investigation Of The Characteristics Of Roller Skating Development Under The Influence Of Society And Culture

Sport as a high level human culture activity follows the basic discipline of processing and exhibits a trend of acceleration. It has developed into an independent cultural and deeply influences modern people’s life.Roller skating has entered into the communities and families by means of it own development characteristics, making the community activities more vivid and lively. Nowadays, the roller skating has become a kind of leisure life for more and more people. The roller skating was rarely hold by peoples in the past, while it is becoming a popular sport and leisure activity in the modern city. In this paper, using the method of literature summary and interview and applying the acknowledge of sociology, the author analyzes the origin and development of roller skating and discusses its development principle.In this article, based on the development characteristics of China sport and roller skating, the author divides the development of roller skating into three stages. The first stage is called embryonic stage (from 1978 to 1989). Second stage is called developmental stage (from 1990 to 1999). The last stage is called mature stage (from 2000 to 2010). Firstly, by analyzing development features of roller skating for each stage explicitly, the overall development characteristic of roller skating is summarized as: from a street activity to a sport event; from minorities involved to majorities involved; from an informal competition event to a formal competition event . What’s more, different factors of the roller skating development are analyzed: the economic growth level is the infrastructure of the roller skating development; changes of civilization is the external force of he roller skating development; mass media is the main assisting method of he roller skating development; life style is importance catalyst of he roller skating development.
