With the development of the times,the education of scientific methods is becoming more and more important.Scientific method education can not only promote the progress of students' knowledge and skills,but also cultivate students' innovative ability and consciousness.However,at present,the goal of "process and method" in the three-dimensional target does not specifically require scientific methods,which makes the education of scientific methods unsystematic;according to a survey,the current level of mastery of high school students' scientific methods is low,and thus the status quo,scientific method education needs reform.Geography textbooks as an important way for students to learn scientific methods,what kind of scientific method knowledge geography textbooks can provide to students,what is the presentation of scientific methods,how well students understand the scientific methods in textbooks,these important issues are related to the student's mastery of scientific methods,and worth exploring in depth.Therefore,taking Geography Compulsory Course 1 by People Education Press as a research sample,based on the dual perspectives of the geography textbook and students has profound practical and theoretical significance.In this paper,"Study of scientific methods in high school geography textbook" is the central issue of the study.This topic is divided into three sub-problems:"What is the scientific method in geography textbook" "How do students know about the scientific methods in geography textbook" "How to optimize scientific methods in geography textbook" and conducted the following four stages of research.The first stage is the literature and theoretical research.This stage is mainly to collect and sort out the domestic and foreign literature materials on the study of scientific methods in the high school geography textbooks,and to clarify the current research focus,trends and existing deficiencies,through the theory,and to define the connotation and extension of "scientific methods","geography textbook" and "scientific methods in geography textbook "in this study.The second stage is the study of textbook content.This stage is mainly to study the content of scientific methods in the Geography Compulsory Course 1.Through the above theoretical analysis,constructing the framework for content analysis,and combining quantitative research and qualitative research to obtain the characteristics and deficiencies of the scientific method.The third stage is the investigation and research stage for students' perception of textbooks.This stage is mainly through questionnaires to investigate the level of cognitive and attitudes of high school students in scientific methods,the main ways of learning scientific methods,and the understanding of scientific methods in textbooks.and to find the lack of scientific methods in textbooks from the view of student.The fourth stage is the study of textbook optimization,This stage is mainly to discover the deficiencies in the preparation of textbooks scientific methods and provide strategies on textbook optimization and related cases from the above-mentioned theoretical research,textbook content research,student questionnaire survey.
