| Middle school Chinese composition teaching is always a major issue in Chinese education,no matter how education reforms,this problem still remains unresolved,which greatly limits the development of the middle school Chinese education.Under this Circumstance,Chinese education reformation among middle schools is also affected.With the embrace of Information Age,Internet technology(IT)has been rapidly improved.Applications like WeChat,Weibo and other platforms have boosted the rapid development of the micro compositions.As the pioneer of education reformation,Beijing brought "Micro-writing" into the Chinese college entrance examination,which officially opened the prelude of micro composition.Since the age has changed so fast that composition teaching has to catch up with the times as well.That is to say,reformation must be enforced as soon as possible.Nowadays,we are living in a world which are full of micro-things,such as micro-movies,micro-fictions and micro-plays.The origin of micro-writing can be traced back to around 1980s or even earlier when fragmentary composition was popular among writers.Yet,micro-writing was first seen in a micro-blog platform called Weibo.With the assistance of Internet,Micro-writing not only comes to life but is also well-spread among the world.As a result,we can say Micro-writing is not a combination of the advanced cultures.Currently,the teaching process of Chinese composition teaching in middle schools is relatively hidebound to some degree.The appearance of the new style is just like an injection that can refresh the reformation.The most distinguishing feature of micro-composition is length of the articles-the compositions are rather short.Compared with the previous long ones,the latter are much more flexibility and themes are much closer to the students’ real life.It benefits teachers a lot in teaching Chinese writing.First,thanks to the characteristic of Micro-composition,the pressure of students writing is reduced and the students’ interest seems to be aroused at the same time.Then,students are more likely to make it a daily routine to write a short essay rather than write a long paper,so writing Micro-composition is also beneficial to push students to form a good habit of practice writing everyday.Secondly,the teaching goals of Micro-writing can be so clear and well-directed so that teachers can design more effective teaching procedures to lead students to improve their writing.On the other hand,students will be more clear about what will can be acquired during a lesson.Last but not least,teaching Micro-writing reflects the people-oriented spirit because it focuses on student’s real life,which strengthen the tie between students and the society.Finally this kind of teaching fully combines modern information technology and composition teaching.It breaks the traditional composition teaching mode and comply with the times.In order to maximize the effect of Micro-composition teaching among middle schools,the author tempts to conduct an in-depth research on the issue.The author has sorted out a series of related researches on micro-compositions and micro-composition teaching in order to have a deeper understanding of background information,including the origins,the concepts,the development etc.Guided by New English Curriculum for Chinese Primary Schools and Junior/Senior Middle Schools and theories like "Education is living and life is developing.",the author of this thesis has made a detailed illustration on teaching strategies which mainly include stimulating students’ interest,specific teaching strategies,assessments and feed-backs.Micro-composition teaching,of course,is still in an embryonic stage.It means there are a lot of problems remain to be solved.However,together with efforts of teachers and researchers,the problems can be solved someday.The author sincerely hopes this paper can provide help for Chinese composition teaching in high schools. |
