| As an important part of higher education in China,non-governmental higher education has been developed rapidly in recent years.It makes positive contributions to higher education and economic development.But it is undeniable that non-governmental higher education has many difficulties and issues as its development.Such as management system,the assurance of teaching quality,the issue of building a teachers’ team,the fund guarantee,etc.Teachers are the foundation of Education.And teachers are the foundation of colleges in development.Because of the particularity of private colleges,they are different from public colleges in teachers’ teams.The main differences are as follow,the source of teachers,the teachers’ construction,their career vision,their belonging.This research focuses on the theme of the sense of belonging of young teachers in private colleges of Henan Province.Through literature research,investigation and research,we hope to understand the sense of belonging of the group,reveal problems,analyze causes,and put forward countermeasures to enhance the sense of belonging of young teachers in private colleges.The research is based on the following four thought.The theoretical study,the current situation analysis,the problem analysis and the countermeasure study.Firstly,based on the Maslow’s hierarchy theory,humanistic management theory and expectancy theory,this research expounds the enlightenment of each theory to the sense of belonging of young teachers in private colleges.Secondly,On the basis of existing research results,combining the reality of Henan private colleges,I make the questionnaire and the interview outline to investigate the sense of belonging of younger teachers in private colleges.The results show that the younger teachers are different in the belongings of identity,emotion and mind,because of the different gender,age,marital status,teaching age,and title and education background.The management system,salary and welfare,the teachers themselves,growth space and working environment are positively correlated with the belongings of identity,emotion and mind of young teachers.There are some issues.Such as unreasonable structure of teaching force,high turnover of teachers,the gap between salary and teachers’ expectation and insufficient growth space.Thirdly,this research makes a deep analysis about the present situation and problems of younger teachers’ sense of belonging.It reveals many issues.For example,the society is not highly acknowledge the private colleges,the private colleges themselves have the poor management,the salary system is imperfect,the career planning is absent,and teachers themselves are negative.At last,this research proposes the strategies to strengthen teachers’ sense of belonging through social status,management system,salary,growth space and teachers themselves.The main strategies are as follow.Improving the management system.Improving the legal guarantee system for teachers in private colleges.Guiding the society to change the concept of private colleges.Improving the position of teachers.Optimizing the compensation and welfare system.Combining the scientific incentive mechanism,and giving fair treatment to the teachers of private colleges to raise their income level.Promoting the professional development of teachers.To establish effective training.Supporting teachers’ learning and communication,and opening up the promotion channel.Teachers should face up to their own situation.Learning the psychological adjustment.To enhance the awareness of self-protection and protection.Keep learning,and improving their own ability comprehensively. |
