The profession of teachers has existed in China since ancient times,but normal education that specialized in cultivating school teachers did not appear until the modem times.With the development of new-style education in China,the lack of new-style teachers has become a serious problem,which lead to a huge demand for the establishment of normal education.Hubei modern secondary normal education has risen under the general environment of the development of secondary normal education in the country.It has gradually developed and improved,and has achieved certain achievements in administrative management,teaching activities,student management,and staff management.This article combs the development of secondary normal education in Hubei Province,and analyzes its implementation from 1927 to 1937.It tries to bring some inspiration for the current normal education.This article consists of five parts.As the introduction,the first part discusses the significance of research,the status of research,the definition of major concepts,and the thinking and methods of research.The second part deals with the needs of primary education,the promotion of government policies at all levels,and rural education.The three aspects of the impact of the movement outlined the background of the development of secondary education in Hubei Province during the administration of the Nanjing National Government,and gave a brief description of the development of secondary education in Hubei during the late Qing and early Republic of China.The third part deals with the policy and quantitative combing of the 1927-1937 period.The development and change of Hubei secondary normal education.The fourth part elaborates the implementation of Hubei secondary normal education from 1927 to 1937 from the four aspects of administrative system,teaching activities,student groups,and teacher groups;the fifth part briefly analyzes the historical influence of Hubei secondary normal education during the year,and based on its experience and inadequacies,summed up the enlightenment for today's teacher education.
