The Impact Of Foreign Trade And Technological Progress On China's Employment

With the continuous development of reform and opening up,China's economy has developed rapidly,and the openness of China's foreign trade has been deepened,which has also highlighted various economic problems.One of the economic problems to be solved urgently is the problem of employment."Employment difficulty" is a major manifestation of China's employment problem.In addition,the imbalance in employment also embodies various aspects such as regional employment and industrial employment.After the economic crisis in 2008,the scale of China's foreign economy showed a declining trend,and the employment growth rate was also decreasing year by year.China is facing not only the external restraining effect from the world economic depression,but also the internal puzzle of the weakening of the marginal driving force of the traditional development mode.Technological progress oriented new driving force for economic development can not only promote economic development,but also affect foreign trade and employment changes at the same time.Therefore,to clarify the influence mechanism of foreign trade and technological progress to China's employment,specific and scientific suggestions can be put forward in the light of local conditions,and the new advantages of foreign trade competition at the core of technology can be formed,and the optimization and upgrading of labor employment can be promoted.Based on the basic analysis of the current situation of China's foreign trade,employment and technological progress,this paper sets out from the theoretical analysis,constructs a measurement model of the influence of foreign trade and technological progress on the employment and employment of China,and analyzes the impact of foreign trade on the employment changes at China's regional and industrial levels by empirical methods.Finally,we conclude the research findings and put forward specific and effective policy recommendations with realistic significance in China.Based on this study,the following conclusions are drawn: First,under the influence of technological progress,foreign trade can promote the increase of total employment in China,but there is a difference in the impact of employment changes in each region.Second,foreign trade has an impact on the employment of industry,especially in foreign trade,which promotes the increase in the employment share of the second and third industries,but restraining the increase in the employment share of the first industry.The innovation of this article includes: First,considering the factors of technological progress,the influence of foreign trade on the change of employment is analyzed,and the measurement error caused by a single factor is avoided.Second,from the two aspects of China's regional employment and industrial employment,the impact of foreign trade on employment is analyzed,and the research and analysis of many aspects make the research of the problem comprehensive and extensiveness.Third,data selection is flexible and diverse,and different methods should be applied flexibly to different research subjects.
