The new teaching idea advocated people-oriented,give full play to the subjectivity of the students,the teachers do a good job in guiding,let every student can express their opinions,we often say ideas,more wisdom also account for the broader sense.Therefore,under the new chemistry curriculum standard,discussion-based teaching with the new education idea,can cultivate students' innovative ability and independent thinking ability,is the most effective method reflect students' subjective initiative.Therefore,the discussion method has become one of the most effective teaching method in our middle school chemistry class.The discussion teaching method refers to the careful preparation of teachers and students in the chemistry classroom teaching,in order to achieve certain teaching goals,through bilateral interaction and communication between teachers and students,so that each student can express their views freely around a certain central content,stimulate the students' classroom passion and improve the efficiency of the class.Improve the students' academic quality.But the discussion teaching method is not a simple way to make students undisciplined and unprepared.This method of teaching has changed the model of the past.It can establish a new and interactive modern teacher-student relationship,realize and standardize the interaction between students,deepen the students' feelings,and promote the students to become active and active learning from passive learning.According to the different teaching contents,the discussion teaching methods are commonly discussed,including random discussion,random discussion,experimental discussion and exercise discussion.In the practical chemistry teaching,these methods should be used flexibly,through the active preparation of teachers and students,the creation of effective discussion situations,the choice of the right time for discussion,the careful organization of classroom discussion,timely encouragement and real-time evaluation.The main research methods in this paper include questionnaire survey,literature review and case practice.In order to find a discussion teaching method suitable for junior high school students,and to better use the discussion teaching method,according to the content of the nine grade teaching materials,three typical cases are designed:the neutralization reaction of acid and alkali,oxygen,combustion and fire extinguishing,and the case pair analysis,from the feedback situation,The enthusiasm of the students is relatively high,the students are more participatory,the overall discussion is better and the ability to solve the problem is also improved obviously,but it is still necessary to adjust and improve to better meet the requirements of the classroom.In the study,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the students of grade nine in our school.The statistical results from the students' attitude to chemistry showed that 63.3%of the students liked chemistry and were willing to learn chemistry well,but 28.6%of the students did not like chemistry,were not interested in chemistry,and 8.1%of the students were indifferent to chemistry.The statistical structure of the students' attitude to the discussion of teaching method shows that 69.1%of the students are very fond of the discussion teaching method,and 64.5%of the students are well suited to the teaching method,which shows that the implementation of the discussion teaching method is effective,but there are still 30.9%of the students who do not like the discussion teaching method,and explain the discussion teaching method.There are still some problems to be solved in the implementation.The study and practice of the discussion teaching method have lasted for more than 4 months.From the results of the four test scores(total score 40)of the 1 and the 2 classes of the reference class,the results of the four tests in the experimental class and the poor students all show an upward trend,not only the results of the experimental class have been improved obviously,but also the achievements of the students in the backward students are also appeared.It shows that the implementation of the discussion teaching method in the classroom is really effective,and it has great help for the learning of the underachievers.At the same time,it has also realized the purpose of the class training,but there are still many shortcomings in the study process.Therefore,in the future practice teaching,we should constantly summarize and reflect,strive to apply the discussion teaching method to the practical chemistry teaching,and also hope to provide some experience and skills for the teaching practice of junior high school chemistry teachers.
