In the PEP edition of Chinese textbooks for junior middle school,contemporary lyric prose occupies a considerable proportion.Students learn such prose not only to exercise their emotional thought but also improve their ability of sensibility expression.The author summarizing the concept of contemporary lyric prose,and according to the research results and the students' mental development characteristics,combined with the Chinese teaching task of junior middle school,the thesis discusses the actual teaching situation of contemporary lyric prose.This dissertation has two parts: preamble and text,the author discusses five aspects in the preamble,namely,research reasons,research objects,research situation,research significance and methods.The text take PEP edition of textbooks in junior high school for instance,starting from the current teaching situation of contemporary lyric prose,discussing the problems and reasons of teaching process,and according to the targets and requirements of Chinese teaching in junior middle school,aiming the characteristics of contemporary lyric prose,the author proposing some countermeasures.These three aspects constitute the three chapters of the thesis.To be specific,the first chapter introduces teaching situation of contemporary lyric prose in junior high school from the angle of student and teacher,teachers' teaching methods are monotonous,and they don't pay attention to the emotional edification,students lack the ability of grasp object of the course,and they might ignore the technique of expression when they are studying.The second chapter discusses the reasons of teaching problems.Teachers' teaching methods are short of interest,students lack correct understanding of course goals,and they think little of the technique of expression.The third chapter is the main chapter of the thesis.this part presents the corresponding solutions to the problem of chapter two.Firstly,teachers could improve their teaching methods from two aspects,namely,try to use a variety of teaching methods and attach importance to emotional experience.Secondly,students should correctly understand the course goals.Finally,they should also make sure the technique of expression of the text.
