In the field of literature,novel is deeply loved by readers because of its vivid plot and realistic characters.Meanwhile,novel teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching in senior high school.The novel works selected in senior high school Chinese textbooks published by the People’s Education Press are mostly representative works.Among them,Contemporary Chinese novel occupies a significant position.Contemporary Chinese novel has a distinct era style and unique way of expression.It’s beneficial to make students acquire varied emotional experiences and help them understand and know the world.However,there are series of problems in high school novel teaching in which the problems of “non-Chinese”,“non-literature” and “non-fiction” are becoming increasingly serious,model of teaching gradually rigidified.Based on this,the research starts from the basis of Contemporary Chinese novel teaching.The first chapter simply defined the concept of contemporary Chinese novel,selected out the specific articles in Chinese textbooks by the People’s Education Press.Emphasis is on the elaboration of the teaching value about contemporary Chinese novel.The second chapter addition,it is on this basis that specific requirements according to "Standard of Chinese Course for Ordinary Senior Secondary Schools" for Contemporary Chinese novel teaching.Then firstly inspected current teaching situation through analysis of the questionnaire,then dissected the specific problems in contemporary Chinese novel teaching.the teaching tendency of “non-Chinese”,“non-literature” and “non-fiction”,as well as typed mode of teaching.In terms of these problems in Contemporary Chinese novel teaching,rationalized suggestions were proposed in the third chapter.At the same time,corresponding tactics were advanced in the aspects of aesthetic education,teaching reading,link-up teaching and reading teaching in the hope of putting forward feasible suggestions and making helpful guidance to contemporary Chinese novel teaching in senior high school.The conclusion summarized the whole thesis,analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of the study,which lays a foundation for further research.
