Research On The Cultivation Of Contemporary College Students’ Legal Thinking

Governing a country by law is the basic way,which is also an important guarantee for the development of a country.Since the the 18 th National Congress of Chinese Communist Party was held,the Central Party Central Committee,with the President Xi Jinping as the core,has put forward the new ideology and new development strategy of the "comprehensive implementation of the rule of law",which promoted the construction of the socialist rule of law with Chinese characteristics into a new era.College students play the very important role in the construction of the legal society in the future,and therefore the cultivation of the college students to be equipped with the concept of the rule of law,with the ability of applying the legal principles,legal norms and legal methods to analyze and solve problems thoroughly and correctly to meet the demands of new era’s development is of significant important.At present,there is a certain gap between the level of our country’s legal education and demands for it in the new era,existing lots of problems and shortcomings are as follows: their understanding of the relationship between the leadership of the party and the governing of the country by law are far from being enough.College students are lack of legal thinking,the acknowledgment of the authority of the constitution,and their acts of protecting rights.Their concept and practice are contradictory and inconsistent in the procedural thinking,etc.With that,it is urgent to promote college students’ cognition and the level of the basic criteria for legal thinking through college students’ education in this regard,guiding them to clarify the value pursuit and the true meanings of the rule of legal thinking through the education of equity and justice;Moreover,through the college education of right and obligation thinking,students can realize clearly that rights and obligations are the core content of the thinking of the rule of law,which guide college students to establish the consciousness of rights and obligations,to practise and maintain their legitimate rights according to law,and to fulfill their legal obligations actively and consciously.Through college students’ procedural thinking education,guiding college students to clearly realize that procedure is the key to the formation of legal thinking,the form of legal act and process stipulated by law with its important independence and instrumental value.Through the establishment of the legal thinking of college students,the internalization of it in five comprehensive levels,that is state,society,school,family and individual,the comprehensive exploration of the integration path and operation strategy of the cultivation of legal thinking of the university students in our country,to promote the conformity and effectiveness of the education of the college students’ legal thinking in the new era.
