With the rapid development of information-based technology,new teaching approaches and student management system have greatly improved management efficiency and effectiveness.The information management system has stored rich and valuable data,comprehensive analysis and summary is made of student's academic records and student's information data.It is found that there is a certain rule between the achievement of examinees and teaching of courses,which can provide useful information for school management and improve students' learning efficiency.In this thesis,Student academic performance analysis and prediction model is established through the Decision Tree Technique from Data Mining Technology by classifying data with the same features through Clustering Algorithm Analysis,to better facilitate individual personalized targeted teaching.Firstly,student's test scores are filtered and preprocessed by Decision Tree Technique to establish database of students which is advantageous to the related data mining.Then,through analyzing the data longitudinally,potential useful information and rules hidden in the student academic performance data are dug out,to provide effective scientific basis for teaching management and reform.Moreover,by extracting rules from the Decision Tree,student academic performance prediction is established to predict student achievement to guide exam takers.What's more,On the basis of the Decision Tree technology,Clustering Algorithm is used to record data classification to find out the relationship between different variables horizontally,and better reinforce the Decision Tree Algorithm.Finally,the accuracy and effectiveness are verified by comparing the results of Clustering and Decision Tree Analysis.The application of the Decision Tree and Clustering Algorithm makes it possible to find out the relationship among student academic performance,the effective rules extractions and variables exploring.As a result,Students can improve their learning ability and quality by receiving targeted guidance and assistance.
