Research On The Application Of Decision Tree In The Employment Guidance For College Students

In recent years, with the continuous expansion of the scale of colleges, the number of college students increased a lot, so did the employment pressure of the graduates. Providing useful information for the college graduates’ employment by using the great deal of data accumulated in the employment management system, is an important research subject. This thesis presents the application of the decision tree used in employment guidance for college students.Based on the theory and algorithm of decision tree classification and the class of 2012 graduates employment information of the Ocean College of Hebei Agricultural University, this thesis constructs the corresponding decision tree and extracts the classification rule, then this thesis obtains the employment related information. The thesis can improve the graduates’ employment rate and level, meanwhile, provide some decision support for the cultivating mechanism.
