With the deepening of the curriculum reform of Chinese education,and the development of era,the ability for middle school students to accept new things is also constantly increasing.Students should be guided to discover the special properties of the material in art class,feeling the unique beauty of different materials.More chances ought to be given to them to contact with nature,traditional arts and crafts culture further so that students’ intensive observation and comprehension ability of beauty can be improved in the fine arts classroom.Students are able to be cultivated through the arts course sand improved the quality of their spiritual life.The art class plays an important role to pass on culture and art and carry forward humane spirit.It will not only stimulate students’ innovation spirit but also enhance their practical ability.On the other hand,it has an effect on adjusting the psychological state of students and promoting the students’ physical and mental health.It has an important influence on broadening the students’ development space and making a life planning as well.This thesis presents an idea on how to combine the "creative manual dyeing" into art curriculum in high school.Not only the creative manual dyeing art will be introduced to students but also make them understand the culture and traditions behind the art,to realize the unification of instrumental and humanism in the teaching of art.When searching data the author found folk arts and crafts education in secondary school has not gained enough attention,the teaching contents and methods are single and boring,which has largely ignored the environmental education and the idea of lifelong education.It also has certain gap on the concept of common development of both teachers and students.In teaching practice,the author creates a teaching mode of "the interaction between teachers and students,the experience of manual dyeing".The curriculum is designed from the perspectives of theoretical analysis,teaching process and operation examples,from which the feasibility and practical ness of the course "creative manual dyeing" in ordinary high school are studied.
