Study Of The University Postgraduate Ideological And Political Work In The New Era

Good ideological and political work is an important guarantee for the stability of the party,the prosperity of the country and the revival of the nation in the new era.In 2016,Comrade Xi Jinping emphasized that the ideological and political work should be carried out throughout the entire process of education and teaching at the conference of the national colleges and universities ideological and political work.Postgraduate education is the main source of high-level young talents in our country.In the new era,for the negative impact caused by the dynamic complex changes of the international environment,interaction of multiculturalism and value orientation,and the problems in the development of graduate students themselves etc.the postgraduate ideological and political work is facing new opportunities and challenges.It is particularly urgent and important to carry out study on postgraduate ideological and political work in the new era.However,the relevant research is relatively few at present,and is concentrated in one aspect of ideological and political work.In fact,the study of holistic postgraduate ideological and political work in specific colleges and universities is more instructive to specific colleges and universities.Considering that Xiangtan University is representative in the training of postgraduates and come forth a number of student models,there are also problems that need to be resolved meanwhile.Therefore,this thesis takes Xiangtan University as an example to study the postgraduate ideological and political work in tho new era.By reviewing the history of postgraduate ideological and political work in Xiangtan University,and comprehensively investigating and analyzing the actuality and problems,this thesis proposes some exploratory strategies for the postgraduate ideological and political work,including the "double responsibility and double assistance" under the leadership of the party committee academic in Xiangtan University,that is primary responsibility to advisors and ideological and political teachers,and assisted responsibility to academic affairs teachers and student cadres.Some work experience and inspiration are concluded.The specific work is summarized as follows:First,we reviewed the history of postgraduate ideological and political work in Xiangtan University.We summarized the national guidelines to carrying out postgraduate ideological and political work in Xiangtan University,and divided the history of the postgraduate ideological and political work into three phases:"preliminary exploration,adjustment and improvement,and active exploration" in a chronological order,and describe them in detailed summary.Second,we investigated and obtained the first-hand data that comprehensively reflect the actualities of postgraduate ideological and political work in Xiangtan University in the new era,and analyzed the problems existing in the current work.Using face-to-face interviews and questionnaire surveys,we obtained the first-hand data on the actualities of postgraduate ideological and political work in Xiangtan University.We summarized and analyzed data in detail,and classified them as:the overall situation of postgraduates,the overall situation of ideological and political teachers,the management system of ideological and political work,the teaching of the theory course,the work force and the work carrier.It was found that the postgraduate ideological and political work of Xiangtan University is generally good,while it also has some problems and deficiencies.Third,according to the specific problems found in the investigation,we proposed corresponding exploratory strategies in terms of work concepts,management systems,ideological and political theory courses,work teams,and work carriers.The strategies include:strengthening people-oriented ideological and political work service concept,improving the two-level postgraduate ideological and political work management system,exerting the main channel role of theory courses of postgraduate ideological and political fully,building cooperation work team of "double responsibility and double cooperation",and using postgraduate ideological and political work carrier reasonably.Fourth,we summarized the experience and enlightenment of postgraduate ideological and political work in Xiangtan University.There are:optimizing the top-level design of party committees in ideological and political work,exerting the advantages of cultivating people in philosophy and social sciences,embedding red cultural genes and the culture of filial piety into postgraduate ideological and political work.This provides a reference for other universities to carry out postgraduate ideological and political work in the new era.
