With the comprehensive popularization of education in China and the deepening of education enrollment expansion in universities,China has made great achievements in education field.Education at all levels is gradually expanding in size,education resources are constantly optimized,and education funds are also greatly increased.However,in recent years,education investment structure has changed significantly with the increasingly fierce social competition.Although the public investment of education in the country is increasing,the contradiction between the insufficient supply of education resources and the demand of family education still exists for a long time.Therefore,based on the family education investment as the research object,systematically investigated the effects of family social and economic status on children's education investment,under the background of new era,to explore the fairness of education resources in our country and has a strong practical significance.Firstly,this paper expounds the theory of family socio-economic status and education investment,and constructs the mechanism of family social economic status to family education investment.Secondly,descriptive statistics are made on the variables of parents' economic capital,social capital and political capital.Again,using the statistical data to construct(CFPS,2016)the econometric model,and through the SPSS statistical software for the collected 2843 valid data regression analysis,test the effect of family all the capital to invest in education;Finally,the basic conclusions and policy Suggestions are given.The main conclusions of this study are:(1)in family capital,the positive effect of economic capital and social capital on family education investment is significant,while political capital has no significant influence.(2)the influence of family education spending levels of many factors,the year of the family disposable income level of education,place of residence,parents,parents' social status and other factors have significant effects on family education expenditure level.(3)the expenditure of children education is greatly influenced by social stratification and urban-rural differences,and the families at different levels of different regions show significant differences,reflecting the fairness of education.Innovation point of this article are(1)in this paper,from the perspective of family three capital capital within the family were examined by the impact on the education investment and its internal mechanism,is the expansion of the existing research and rich,this article provides the theoretical support of research for the education resource distribution,has the important academic value;(2)according to the existing literature,the family social economy status and the relationship between the education investment,most of previous studies based on economic capital and social capital as a single capital research,this article will study the capital as three capital combination mechanism,namely,economic capital,social capital,political capital research family socioeconomic status influence on children's education investment are relatively rare.In addition,this paper also divided the study area,which has a certain representativeness.
