The role of practice in teaching materials is self-evident.To master the skills of a language,you need to practice it.It is not only an effective tool to help students apply knowledge flexibly to real life,but also helps teachers to know in a timely manner how well students master new knowledge,so as to improve teaching quality.However,the current research on exercises has not been given much attention in the research field of teaching Chinese as a foreign language,and it is in the weak link of the teaching material research.From the perspective of previous research,the study of Thai Chinese textbooks mainly focuses on comparing several different Chinese textbooks or examining a certain teaching material more comprehensively(not only from a certain perspective).Conduct a study on a classroom exercise of a Thai version of 1-4 textbooks.The author takes the classroom practice of "Experiencing Chinese"(Thai edition)as the research object,takes the experiential teaching method as the guide,and carries out in-depth analysis and investigation of each part of the exercises.This article uses literature review method,quantitative analysis method and questionnaire survey method,and discusses the full text in five parts.The first part is to elaborate on the introduction part;then introduce the general situation of the teaching practice from the macro level,confirm the importance of the practice from the theoretical point of view,and explain the statistical standard;secondly,the content,form and question from the practice.In terms of quantity and so on,the classroom exercises for the 1-4 volumes of the “Inexperienced Chinese”(Thai edition)junior high school series were statistically analyzed;the third was based on the types of exercises,contents,and forms,focusing on “Experiencing Chinese”(Thai language).The characteristics of the practice activities were examined;the final questionnaires and interviews were conducted through junior middle school students and teachers of a Muangkhong school,a public high school with the greatest influence in Thailand’s Nakhon Ratchasima Province,as well as some Hanban volunteers and intern Chinese teachers.According to the results of the investigation,the possible insufficiencies inthe use of this set of exercises were analyzed,and a number of reasonable suggestions were put forward in a targeted manner,hoping to provide some references for the use of teaching materials in the future.
