Research On Problems And Countermeasures Of College Students' Community Management

With the continuous upgrading of our social and economic level and the popularization of higher education,the scale of college students is increasing,and a series reform measures of higher education such as the implementation of Elective System,Credit System and the Socialization of Logistics in colleges and universities have prompted a new type of student management which takes the student community as the management platform.At present,three main modes of college students' community management exist in our country: one is the traditional management mode which dominated by the joint management of various functional departments of school.Secondly,the semi-social property management model means that part of the management functions(safety,health,etc.)are separated from the school functional departments and commissioned by the property company to manage.Thirdly,the community education system management model,student affairs management department is established in the student community,educating people with student community reaches its full potential.The three models stem from different social backgrounds and era environment,although they have achieved certain management results,there are some historical limitations.Therefore,how to further deepen the management of college students' community and explore the advanced student community management model is an urgent problem to be solved in the current higher education.Through the relevant theories of public management and higher education,the problems existing in the management of student community are analyzed,the exploration of student community management in Suzhou University was carried out and we concluded the main problems existing in the current student community management : slow speed of reform,small scale of development,and more " tentative " pilot projects;the student community management system is not perfect,the mechanism is not perfect,the power and responsibility is not clear;management concept has not been completely changed,management is higher than service and participation of students in management is missing;the student community lacks the support of the cultural atmosphere.If these problems are not effectively solved,they will seriously restrict the improvement of students' community management level.Based on the analysis of the reasons for the problems,this paper puts forward the following suggestions on how to improve the management level of college students' community : the school should be rational positioning,innovate ideas,improve the management mode of student community,and form a joint force of educating people;as for the student work,it is necessary to strengthen the construction of community management team,create a good community culture,educate people by the way of education and culture;in addition,the service level of logistics management,it's very important to strengthen the team building of community management and material culture construction,educate people with service and environment;about the student management,it is necessary to establish self-governing organizations for themselves,cultivate public awareness and realize self-management,self-service and self-education.
