Analysis Of College Students’ Dormitories Community ManagementModel: Problems And Countermeasures

Research on the students’ dormitories of colleges and universities has a long historical standing, intensive attention has been paid on the functions of students’ dormitories. In the exploration of the community-based management in students’ dormitories, theoretical basis is weak and a lack of experience is found in how to Practice. Therefore, there is very important theoretical and practical significance of Research on community-based management in students’ dormitories.There are three models of management of students’ dormitories, The traditional management model, Semi socialized management model and The college system model. Three models generated in different historical background, applicable to different social environment, but there are kinds of historical limitations. How to reform the advanced community management mode of students’ dormitories management mode is an urgent task for the higher education of our country.I work in the Soochow University, which has a long history, has a rich experience on students’ dormitories management. C.W.Chu College, built in 2011,is making achievement in the college system model management of students’ dormitories and also set an good example for Soochow University.Taking history as a mirror, can make clear gain or loss. After the analysis of the dormitory management in our country mode, we can clearly understand the advantages and limitations of various kinds of management modes. With real samples as the research object, we can figure out ways to improve the management mode of students’ dormitories in colleges and universities.
