The 2016 International Charter on Geography Education clearly states that"Geography education not only brings people's core skills in the 21st century,but also brings them distinctive tools of inquiry."Paying special attention to the importance of geographical practical power to the future citizen and social development.In 2016's "Geography Core Literacy",Geography practical Power was proposed as one of the four core accomplishments.The practice of geography is the way to cultivate the practical force of geography,which is embodied in the textbook and the compilation of the active text.Geography Education in the United States In order to pay attention to the cultivation of practical ability and innovative character,comparing domestic textbooks with them,the author can examine their advantages and disadvantages,draw lessons from the advantages of their design,and provide some suggestions for optimizing the compilation of textbooks in our country.This paper begins with the literature materials related to "geographical practical power","active text" and "comparison of geography teaching materials between China and America" at home and abroad.On the basis of analyzing and analyzing the present situation of the research,this paper finds out the problems existing in the study.Taking the definition of the core concept of this paper as the starting point and the starting point,taking the questionnaire method,Delphi method,comparative research method,case analysis method,interview method as the main research methods,combined with the relevant theoretical basis,On the basis of the practical basis of the comparative study of Chinese and American textbooks,and based on the conclusions,the author puts forward some suggestions for optimizing the compilation of active texts of geography practice in the teaching materials of human education edition.The main contents of this paper include the following six parts:The first part of the introduction,through the domestic and foreign related literature combing,determined the research topic,the research background and the significance.The second part is the theoretical part,the elements of Geographical Practice determine the geographical practice motivation,geography practice knowledge,geography practice,geography practice ability,the five aspects of the geographical practice quality;the definition of the core concepts of this study,the geography practice force activity text,and determine the theoretical basis of this research,.Bruner's cognitive discovery theory,theory of new geography curriculum reform.The third part is the practice basis,through the questionnaire survey method,Delphi method,the front-line teachers' understanding and use of the active text of geography practice in the teaching material of human education edition are investigated by questionnaire.Through the investigation and consultation,the author will find the practical basis for the comparison of the geography practical force and the compilation and optimization of the teaching material of the Chinese and American teaching materials through the investigation and consultation of the content comparison index system of the Chinese and American textbooks.The fourth part is the comparison of geography practical force between Chinese and American textbooks,which mainly uses comparative research method and case analysis method to compare the active texts of geography practical force between Chinese and American textbooks from the perspective of geographical practical force.It mainly includes three parts:the selection of comparative chapters,the comparison of the number and types of the active texts of geographical practice,and the comparison of the contents of the active texts of geographical practices.The fifth part is the optimization suggestion of geography practice active text.According to the conclusion of the fifth chapter,from the design of quantity and type,the motivation of geography practice,,the cultivation of geography practice ability.Suggestions on how to develop geographical practice quality in six aspects are put forward.The sixth chapter is the main conclusion of this paper,there are shortcomings and prospects.This study is to compare the active texts from the perspective of the cultivation of geographical practical power.To some extent,the research results enrich the theoretical research of the geography practical force and the active texts in textbooks.It provides some guidance for the compilation,optimization and use of the active text of geographical practice.
