Compared with the development of the developed countries such as the United Kingdom,the United States,and Australia,Chinese career education is still in its infancy.The status of Chinese career education is not optimistic especially in the important period of students in junior high school.Besides,nearly half of junior high school graduates in China are required to enter secondary vocational and technical schools.After the middle school entrance examination,they must face the problem of selecting majors.In addition,a new round of high school curriculum reforms is proposed to cancel the arts and sciences division so that students can select test subjects in the future according to their own interests and hobbies.The penetration status of professional career education in junior high school physics teaching in China was first investigated and the attitudes and suggestions of some first-line junior high school physics teachers and junior high school students in constructing career education content in junior high school physics textbooks was known in this thesis,.Based on this status quo,a comparative study method was used to compare the contents,methods,and characteristics of career education in the junior middle school physics textbooks of three countries in the United Kingdom,the United States,and Australia.The contents were mainly compared with the presentation forms and columns of the columns.Number,type of column setting,occupation coverage,and illustration ratio.The main research conclusions:According to the comparison of professional career education content of junior middle school physics textbooks in the three countries,and the content of career education in the construction of junior middle school physics textbooks in China,the author puts forward the following suggestions:Firstly,set rich columns and diversify the forms;Secondly,graphic and textual,visually intuitive;Thirdly,the choice of physics-related careers,career coverage should be broad;The fourth,increase the link of network resources;The fifth,update the concept of employment,improve junior high school students’ professional awareness.
