Abstract/Summary:
As the direct embodiment of the curriculum standard,the textbook is not only an important carrier of “teaching” for teachers,but also an important guide of learning for students.With the promulgation and implementation of “Ordinary High School Chemistry Curriculum Standard”,there are three versions of China’s current high school chemistry textbooks,which are “Renjiao edition” published by People’s Education Press,“Jiangsu edition” by the Shandong Education Publishing House,“Shandong edition” by Shandong Science and Technology Publishing House.The contents of the high school chemistry 1 are introductory and fundamental.Meanwhile,the first year of high school is an important stage to stimulate students’ interest in learning chemistry.Based on the analysis of the required module 1 of the three different chemical textbooks in the compulsory high school,this thesis aims to provide a reference for teachers to grasp the key teaching materials.This article mainly contains the following five parts:1.Introduction: including the question,research background,research purpose and significance,research content,research methods;the research contents include the following three aspects:(1)Through reading relevant literature,this thesis sums up the existing experience and constructs the model of how to analyse teaching materials;(2)According to the construction of this model,this thesis makes comparison and analysis among the textbooks of the Renjiao edition,Jiangsu edition,and Shandong edition;(3)Summarize and conclude the analysis of these textbooks.2.Literature review: including the analysis and research of the domestic teaching materials,foreign teaching materials,and the comparative analysis between domestic and foreign teaching material,and then establish the teaching material analysis model of this thesis.Research on domestic materials,respectively,includes the analysis of the specific knowledge and the analysis of the compulsory module.But this analysis simply studies the nature of the contents.The analysis of the number of columns and icons is fewer.As for the study of foreign materials,most essays focus on the construction of the model of how to analyse textbook.Based on this model,researchers can obtain the characteristics of foreign textbooks,which can enlightenment Chinese textbook editors a lot.Comparative study between domestic teaching materials and foreign teaching materials tends to analyse some specific comparative contents,such as content selection,compiling concept,columns design,organization methods,layout design,and experimental design.According to the analysis,study and integration of the past essays,this thesis aims to analyze the model of how to analyze textbook about the Renjiao edition,Jiangsu edition,and Shandong edition from the qualitative perspective and the quantitative perspective.From the qualitative perspective,this thesis analyzes the structure of contents,the way of the presentation of content and the content selection among these three kinds of textbooks.From the quantitative perspective,this thesis analyzes the number of pages of each part,illustrations and experiments.At the same time,according to the content of the high school chemistry 1 and curriculum standards,the contents of the high school chemistry 1 textbook can be divided into five parts: material quantity,material classification,change and reaction,chemical experiment foundation,metal elements and their compounds,non-metallic elements and their compounds.3.From the qualitative perspective,this thesis studies the structure of contents,the way of the presentation of content and the content selection among these three kinds of textbooks,through which can lead to make clear specific strengths and weaknesses of each edition and provide an efficient reference for teachers.The analysis of the structure of content is mainly from the chapters arrangement of textbooks,the presentation of content from the part of the teaching materials and its significance,the content selection from the selected knowledge and its significance.4.From the quantitative perspective,this thesis analyzes the number of pages of each part,illustrations and experiments.From these contents,this thesis analyzes the emphases of three editions of textbooks in training students’ all-round development and scientific literacy.5.Conclusion and suggestion: the summary of these three versions of textbooks.(1)The construction of the Renjiao textbook is based on the logic system of knowledge,which can effectively help students to form the knowledge framework and cultivate the rigorous thinking ability.Qualitatively,to the point of content selection,this thesis claims that the description of the aggregation state of material should be added properly in the course of the “amount of substance”,chromatography and material test should be added properly in the course of “classification,change and response of material” to broaden the students’ views,and the concepts of some elements,like magnesium and copper,should be properly supplemented in the course of “metal elements and their compounds”.To the point of the content organization,the Renjiao textbook introduces the knowledge points intensively.This thesis thinks that some difficult points can be handled dispersedly.To the point of the way of the content presentation,Renjiao edition makes full use of students’ direct and indirect experience on the “thinking and communication” and “learn and ask” column,which accords with the Constructivism Education Theory.But the induction column is few.This thesis thinks teachers should realize it in teaching.Quantitatively,the number of pages of each part and the illustrations in Renjiao edition are ranked the second,and experiments the first,which fully illustrates that Renjiao textbooks attach great importance to students’ practical ability.(2)Jiangsu edition textbooks pay great attention to the formation of the basic concept,highlight special scientific research methods,and lay emphasis on the relation between chemistry and real life.Qualitatively,to the point of the content selection,Jiangsu textbook comprehensively selects the teaching content.To the point of content organization,Jiangsu textbook scientifically divides the tough knowledge points into pieces.To the point of the way of the knowledge presentation,there are various teaching columns in Jiangsu textbooks.Quantitatively,illustrations and the number of pages of each part in Jiangsu textbook are ranked the third,and experiments the second.This thesis thinks that the experiments and illustrations in the course of “classification,change and response of material” in the Jiangsu edition textbooks should be relatively increased when used.(3)Shandong edition textbooks emphasize the subject development of chemistry and advocate the learning process and research method.Qualitatively,to the point of the content selection,the chemical element carbon is introduced in Shandong textbook,but there are few experiments.To the point of the content organization,the Shandong textbook focuses on cultivating the scientific thinking ability and quality.To the point of the way of the content presentation,there are many teaching columns in Shandong textbooks.But the induction column is few.Quantitatively,the illustrations and the number of the pages of each part are ranked the first,and the experiments the third.In addition,the number of experiment tests and the description of the experiments are fewer.Some illustration in the course of “classification,change and response of material” should be provided when needed.It can be seen that the “Renjiao edition” attaches great importance to the training of experimental abilities.Chemistry is an experiment-based discipline.Many studies have shown that chemical experiments can effectively stimulate students’ interest in learning and cultivate students’ scientific literacy.Meanwhile,“Renjiao edition” the application area is also the most extensive.However,in terms of overall knowledge content,all three versions are written in strict accordance with the curriculum standards.
