| After entering the 21 st century,with the continuous progress and development of society,people’s living standards have been continuously improved,and the quality of life has also been improved steadily.However,the physical quality of students is constantly declining,and the health condition has dropped to an unimaginable situation.The elementary school is the student’s basic stage to help students develop a good habit of participating in physical exercise actively.As an important part of student’s physical exercise,school sports recess can be served as a vehicle to make up the lack of healthy curriculum and extracurricular physical exercise.With the theoretical design and practical implementation,the search attempts to analyze the practical problems encountered in the practical implementation and put forward related suggestions to provide corresponding reference for the recess of primary school in Kaifeng.This research uses literature,survey,case analysis,field observation,logic analysis,and mathematics methods to investigate and analyze the design and implementation of 7 primary schools in Kaifeng.After this research,some present situations and suggestions has been concluded.Conclusion:1.The primary school in Kaifeng can implement the relevant national laws and regulations and carry out sports activities actively.The design can reflect the principle of participation and interest,but the principles of innovation and effectiveness need to be improved.The goal of implementing sports recess is clear,which is mainly to exercise and relieve students’ learning fatigue.However,the other multiple objectives need to be paid more attention.2.The sports recess of the urban primary school in Kaifeng can be guaranteed within 30-40 minutes with 3-5 sports activities.The contents of activities are updated regularly,but the update cycle is a long period relatively.3.In the urban primary school of Kaifeng,sports equipment can meet the demand basically.But the lack of sports ground restricts the development of sports activities severely.4.In the process of sports recess in elementary schools,the four-step process is admission,group activities,grouped independent activities,and exiting,which has been the basic process in elementary schools in Kaifeng.5.In the urban primary school of Kaifeng,headmasters,sports teachers,and class teachers have a correct understanding of the sports recess but there also exists some bias about it.According to the participation,sports teachers and class teachers join in activities more actively and the participation of other teachers should improve relatively.6.The supervision group for sports recess has been set up and the Education and Sports Bureau also conducts supervision work regularly.However,there are many problems in supervision work and the evaluation system is not perfect.7.There is little training about sports recess in Kaifeng urban elementary school,and less opportunity for class teachers to communicate with teachers in general,which will affect the development of sports activities.8.In Kaifeng urban elementary school,during the implementation process of sports recess,the responsibility system is obvious.The duties of sports teachers and class teachers are clear.Suggestions:1.The education department should establish a working system with adding the score of sports recess into the assessment of the school,which can increase the emphasis on physical activities.2.The education department should provide more learning opportunities and training opportunities for school sports workers,which can help teachers summarize experiences,learn more advanced concepts,and broaden their horizons.3.Set up special funds for sports recess and give certain financial subsidies to teachers involved in physical activities to increase the enthusiasm of teachers to participate in the sports activities.4.Based on the existing success,encourage teachers to study the long-term development methods and means of physical recess further so as to improve the effectiveness of school sports recess.5.Encourage schools at all levels to develop sports recess in accordance with their own situation and combined with the advanced experience of other schools.6.Subsequent studies can pay more attention at the supervision and evaluation of sports recess and the exercise load on the students’ health.Try to ensure the quantitative guidance of physical activities in the school sports recess. |
