| It’s better to teach a man fishing than to give him fish.The continuous understanding and transformation of the world in human activities depends not only on the existing scientific knowledge and achievements,but also on the effective scientific methods.Similarly,the purpose of education is not to teach students a simple scientific knowledge,but more importantly,to guide students to master scientific learning and research methods.Model construction is not only an important method of scientific practice,but also an important method for students’ scientific learning.Since the 21 st century,core literacy has become the trend and direction of education reform,helping students to understand,develop,and master model construction methods,and is also the basic requirement for implementing the “China’s students’ development core qualities” in the new era.The paper firstly summarizes model,model construction and the model construction theory in teaching.It also reviews the related contents of primary batteries.On this basis,the model construction method is introduced into teaching,and the basic process of model construction is constructed.The process of model construction teaching includes four basic links: analysis and distinguish the model elements,associate elements and construct model,extend variable and verify model,migration application and internalize model,and further put forward the strategy of implementing model construction teaching.The teaching plan was designed based on the example of “Working principle of primary battery”,and the teaching practice based on model construction was carried out.In order to test the effectiveness of model construction teaching,a set of parallel classes was set up as a control group.Based on the Rasch model,the data collection tool of this study,the battery level meter,was developed.After two rounds of testing and correction,the indicators of the meter have met the basic requirements of measurement.It is confirmed that model construction teaching can effectively promote students’ understanding of the concepts related to primary batteries and enable students to understand the concepts of primary batteries to a higher level through the analysis of test results of experimental students and control students,and it also has a positive effect on the transformation of students’ alternative conceptions.The innovation of the thesis is mainly reflected in two aspects: First,put forward four aspects of model construction and the method of model construction is applied to teaching.It is an effective attempt at teaching theory and practice.Second,based on the Rasch model,a good-quality primary battery level meter was developed,unlike traditional tests,the scale can effectively detect the level of the development of students’ primary battery concept. |
