| With the rapid development of biological science,model building has become a powerful tool for scientific research to transform abstract into intuitive.The Biology Curriculum Standards for Ordinary High School published in 2017 clearly regards "model and modeling" as an important method of cultivating scientific thinking,and modeling can help students build a knowledge system.The purpose of this study is to analyze the elements and design strategies of model construction in the teaching process,and try to build a suitable teaching design method of model construction,so as to provide effective reference for the practical application of biological construction model teaching in high school.Through literature review,this research combs the current situation of the application of domestic and foreign scholars to model and modeling teaching in senior high school biology curriculum;Clarify relevant concepts such as model,biological model and model construction;Combining the process elements and design strategies of modeling teaching proposed by scholars,the modeling teaching strategies suitable for this study are designed.The questionnaire survey was conducted on students from four dimensions,and the analysis of the questionnaire found that the application of model construction teaching in senior high school biology teaching was not in-depth.Teachers habitually used ready-made physical models in classroom teaching,ignoring the process and methods of modeling.The training of students’ model construction ability needs to be further improved and improved.Through text analysis of the 2017 new curriculum standard and the compulsory 1textbook of the People’s Education Press,we sorted out the content related to model construction in the curriculum standard and textbook,and designed the teaching and practice of model construction according to the problems reflected in the questionnaire survey.The teaching of model construction needs to follow certain scientific design steps,and the internal logic of model construction needs to be constantly optimized and perfected in the process of practice,so that students can know why,and then better teaching results can be achieved.Through the process of model construction,inspection and correction,we can constantly stimulate and reconstruct students’ thinking,guide students to develop scientific thinking,and improve students’ enthusiasm to actively participate in the classroom.Through the analysis of the results of students’ paper and pencil tests,it is found that the application of model construction in teaching can stimulate students’ learning fun,promote them to master biological knowledge as soon as possible,and improve students’ biological performance.In a word,it is necessary for teachers to guide students to learn how to participate in model building in model building teaching.Based on the research results,the teaching suggestions are summarized as follows:1.Make full use of the process of building models to help students enhance their thinking and expression ability,get rid of the shackles,bravely exchange ideas,and closely combine learning with practice.2.Teachers should pay more attention to the teaching of model construction,strengthen the connotation and relevant theories of learning models and modeling,and master scientific teaching strategies of model construction.Teachers should flexibly use textbooks to implement modeling teaching strategies in daily teaching,and guide students to build a knowledge system.3.Carry out reasonable teaching design,scientifically penetrate modeling steps,pay attention to students’ ability to evaluate and revise models,and improve students’ scientific thinking ability.Classroom teaching should strengthen the application research of modeling teaching strategies in high school biology,explore the methods of building models,and enhance the scientificity of teachers’ use of modeling teaching.By building models,students can understand the methods of building models,obtain biological concepts,and help them to understand the nature of biology,master scientific learning methods,and have a certain ability to explore. |
