By reviewing the research progresses on the junior physics teaching case and graduated prompting assessment modes,the junior physics teaching cases under the graduated prompting model are chosen as the study topic in this dissertation,which is rarely reported.The dynamic assessment is understood in the aspects of theorical basis,definition,feature,and main modes.Combined the features of junior physics classroom teaching case and graduated prompting assessment model,the design principle of junior physics teaching cases under the graduated prompting model is determined.By this principle,the previous teaching cases are optimized.The teaching cases under graduated prompting assessment are designed for the new concept lesson of “Specific heat capacity” and unit review lesson of “Optical lens and its application”,which are excerpted from section 4 chapter 19 for grade 9 and chapter 4 for grade 8 in the physics textbook published by Shandong Science and Technology Press,respectively.In the designed cases,the classroom teaching is promoted by the graduated prompting questions submitted from general to specific,and the corresponding graduated prompting scales are determined according to the normal form identified as “pretest-learning-migration-posttest” and 6-level intervention steps of graduated prompting assessment proposed by Campione and Brown.After the teaching case design completed,the teaching experiments are performed by selecting class 3 and class 4 grade 8 of a middle school to be the experimental and control class in Zhangdian district,Zibo.By comparing the graduated prompting score on the learning stage to that on the migration stage,the migration ability of experimental class is evaluated.On the other hand,the differences between the pretest and posttest scores of the two classes are analyzed in terms of the averages and standard deviations,which support the validity of designed cases.The results of the teaching experiment show that the teaching design under the graduated prompting mode has a significant effect on the improvement of the students' ability to migrate.
