The typical character material in the junior high school ideological and moral teaching material has both a positive image of admiration and imitation,and an image of disgust and vigilance.The use of typical character materials to educate young people must conform to their physical and psychological development characteristics,which play a very important role in the gradual development and formation of characters.We should fully understand the role of the typical character materials in the teaching of ideological and moral material for students,and analyze the typical character material in the textbook by using the historical materialism method,the empirical research method and the investigation research method and investigate and think about the students' learning situation and the current status of the teachers' use in teaching.Through the research,it is found that there are still some regrets in the compilation of ideological and moral teaching materials,the number of distribution is uneven and there are too few female characters.In the middle school ideological and moral class,there are still some problems in the students' learning and teachers' use of the typical characters in the teaching materials.We should emphasize the primary role of this course in students' study,and the concept of teacher-oriented and student-centered should be permeated.It embodies "student-oriented development",adopts a variety of teaching methods,respects the needs of students' physical and mental development,attaches importance to students' emotional experience,and promotes the overall development of students.The purpose of ideological and moral education is not only to teach students knowledge,but more importantly,to teach students to form excellent moral character in the process of learning and thinking so as to promote their own sustainable development.In addition,the use of the teaching materials of typical characters in the teaching materials for junior high school ideological and moral education also need to consider the impact of campus,family and social environment,how to do their best to eliminate their negative impact,carry forward positive energy and promote new style.It is an important task facing educators in the new era.
