| Math assignments are a very important part of mathematics teaching. They are not only an extension of classroom teaching, but also a tool for testing the effect of classroom teaching and learning. However, even if the new curriculum has been widely implemented today, some teachers still adopt the “one size fits all” arrangement of assignments, ignoring the uneven quality of students. This has led to the phenomenon that “top students are not well-fed and poor students can’t eat”.Therefore,in the teaching process, mathematics teachers should pay attention to the difference of students’ personalities, design layered assignments which is scientific reasonable in structure,so that every student can get the maximum development. On the basis of consulting a large number of documents, the paper investigated the current status of mathematics assignments in rural junior high schools from the perspectives of both teachers and students, combined questionnaires(sub-questionnaires and teacher questionnaires),and found out problems in assignments, and then carried out practical investigation of the layered design of mathematics assignments in rural schools.During the semester’s practical inquiry process, the two classes in the eighth grade taught as the research subjects were the experimental class and the control class. At first, the students are divided into different levels by comparing the two test scores and their performance in the first semester of the eighth grade. At the same time,it also follows the design principles of stratified operations, and it is closely related to the student’s “recent development area” to compile different levels of work. After the stratification operation was carried out for a period of time, the two classes were tested and the effects of stratified job design on students were studied from the overall results and questionnaire survey.Through a one-semester grading practice of mathematics assignments, from the examination results and the results of questionnaire surveys,it can be found that since the implementation of the mathematics assignments, most students take a positive attitude towards this form of work and actively cooperate with teachers.Students’ attitudes towards learning mathematics have changed.Learning interest and self-confidence have been improved. The awareness of active learning is more pronounced than before the experiment.Students at each level have made progress on their own level and also solves the single problem of traditional operation form,so that each student has found their own "developable area" to ensure that every student can pick a "peach" with one jump.At the same time,it inspires teachers to update their educational concepts and enthusiasm for teaching reforms, pay attention to the characteristics of mathematics disciplines, attach importance to differences in students’ personalities, develop students’ potential, and help students establish self-confidence and innovative forms of work. |
