| In recent years,the frequent occurrence of chemical risk accidents reflects the loss of some people’s risk consciousness,and also leads to more misunderstanding and prejudice towards chemicals and even chemistry.In view of current situation that the shortage of risk education in middle school and the existing chemical readers do not reflect the sense of risk education,writing a reader based on cultivating students’sense of risk of science will promote the implementation of risk education in the chemistry,improve middle school students’ consciousness of risk,enhance theirs ability to deal with risk,and also eliminate theirs unscientific understanding of chemistry.The study researches the related researches of risk education and chemical reader using literature and comparative methods,investigates the teaching material on sense of risk of science in the current required chemistry textbooks by PEP,analyzes the current situation of the textbook knowledge to cultivating the students’ sense of risk of science in the chemistry teaching stage in our country,induces the advantages and disadvantages of the education materials on sense of risk of science in the current textbooks,then five principles of writing chemical reader were proposed,consisting of highlighting the characteristics of chemistry,adapting to the physical and mental development of students,meeting the requirements of social development,inspiring students’ knowledge and innovation in science,and conforming to the essential characteristics of readers.Around social hot issues,seven topics that are controversial or misunderstood were selected as the theme,and the reader "chemistry and life safety" was written.The selection of,alcohol" and "pesticide" is based on food safety,"Inhalable particle" and "formaldehyde" is based on ecological environment,"water resources" and "chemical batteries" is based on utilization of energy,"plastic" is based on utilization of materials.The reader including various columns such as "online news","history review","data reading","investigation and inquiry","thinking and communication","taste test","reading reflection " and so on.The content of the reader is rich and diverse,which is not ouly beneficial to the self-education for students’ sense of risk of science,but also stimulates students’ thinking and inquiry consciousness,and improves their comprehensive quality.Based on the review of some middle school chemistry teachers towards this reader and the interview of some middle school students after reading this reader,it can be deduced that the reader "chemistry and life safety" is necessary,reasonable,readable,practical and effective.The reader meets the cognitive level of most middle school students,closes to the actual life of the middle school students,applies to the future life of middle school students,and helps middle school students to see more rationally about the use of chemicals,the application of chemical science,and the emergence and prevention of risk.And it enables middle school students to form a more rational understanding of chemical science.The reader is expected to achieve the expected effect of cultivating middle school students’ sense of risk of science. |
