In recent years, with the development of our society and the progress of science and technology, the profession of education has received enough attention, and teachers have become the focus of social attention. The quality of teachers’ teaching determines the development of students to a certain extent. Therefore,at present, improving teaching quality is the key to promoting the development of education in our country. To improve teaching quality, first of all,the main factors affecting teaching quality should be clearly defined, and then teachers’ teaching quality should be evaluated reasonably.Based on the research on the influencing factors of teachers’ teaching quality made by domestic and foreign scholars,A theoretical analysis of Chinese teachers’ teaching quality is made in this paper from four aspects: teaching content, teaching attitude, teaching methods and means, and teaching effect.11 secondary indexes are selected and the index system is constructed. The teaching quality of 19 teachers in the Department of Architecture and Environmental Safety of Chongqing Institute of Safety and Technology is graded by discrete Hopfield neural network. Then,it is divided into five grades. The approach of each teacher and the optimal scheme in each grade is calculated by using entropy weight TOPSIS method.According to the value of the degree of proximity, the teachers of the same grade are sorted. At the end of the research, the grade and the result of ranking are compared with the actual training scope and training time. The following conclusions are obtained in this paper:(1)The entropy weight of 11 evaluation indexes is calculated by entropy weight method,in which the weights of the 11 th,4th and 7th indexes are relatively large.(2)By classifying 19 teachers into grades,we get that four teachers belong to grade Ⅰ,five belong to grade Ⅱ and five belong to grade Ⅲ,and the remained five teachers belong to grade Ⅳ and grade Ⅴ,respectively.(3)The ranking of 4 teachers in the first grade is 1,2,4 and 3,and the ranking of 5 teachers in the second grade is 1,2,5,4 and 3,respectively.(4)The results of the research are basically consistent with the results of the actual evaluation of teaching in the school, whether it is the grade distribution of teachers or the ranking of teachers within the same grade.
