Abstract/Summary:
The narrative poetry accounts for less in the middle school Chinese textbooks,and most of the teachers and students have not formed a systematic appreciation theory and method.Narratology has formed a set of complete theory,which has a great guiding role in the appreciation of narrative poetry.The teaching of narrative poetry in middle school has the problems of neglecting cultural background,narrative perspective and narrator.Teachers tend to focus on the sequence of events in the structure of the table and ignore the relevant cultural background,which causes students to know only the clue and sequence of the story clues and events,and can not understand the writer’s intention of writing in-depth,and can’t grasp the intrinsic cultural connotation of the narrative poem;Instead of the narrative perspective,teachers do not think deeply about the multiple roles of different narrative perspectives from the perspective of narratology;Teachers ignore narrators,students can not distinguish between authors and narrators,and can not accurately understand the narrative functions of different narrators.In view of the above problems,and based on narratology,the following suggestions are put forward for the appreciation of narrative poetry in secondary schools:Focusing on the problem that the teachers’ connotation of the story is not deep enough,it is suggested that teachers should strengthen the knowledge of narratology and the accumulation of relevant history and culture,and develop the teaching habits of narratology to appreciate narrative poetry.To guide students to fully understand the background of narrative poetry creation with the help of understanding the world;Focusing on the problem that teachers are not sensitive to the change of narrative perspective,it is suggested that teachers should strengthen the accumulation of narrative perspective theory,develop the habit of appreciating narrative poems from narrative perspectives,and instruct students to rewrite narrative perspectives.To understand the influence of different narrative perspectives on the works;It is suggested that teachers should guide students to show their role as narrators and pay attention to the narrative functions of different narrators in view of the inaccuracy ofteachers’ distinction between narrators and authors.With the help of narratology to guide students to appreciate narrative poetry,it can renew the expectation of students’ appreciation of narrative poems,enrich the theoretical methods of students’ appreciation of narrative poems,and improve the innovative ability of students’ appreciation of narrative poems.
