The integration of mathematics history into mathematics education is a hot topic for scholars at home and abroad.Although the study of HPM started late in our country,in recent years,under the background of the new curriculum reform,the educational value of mathematics history has been recognized by many educational experts.Therefore,it is of great practical significance to carry out theoretical and empirical research on HPM.The function is the core content of high school mathematics teaching,and it is also the difficulty of high school mathematics teaching.From the perspective of HPM,this paper attempts to integrate the history of mathematics into the teaching of function,and designs case of HPM teaching,hoping to provide a new perspective for the teaching of function in senior high school.To provide some teaching materials with paradigm meaning for classroom practice.The full text is divided into six parts:The first part summarizes the background of the topic,analyzes the research value of this topic,and puts forward the research purpose,research content and research methods.In the second part,the author points out the development trend of HPM research at home and abroad,the theoretical basis of applying mathematics history to teaching,and the main research methods used by people.The third part analyzes the historical origin and development of the concept of function,which provides theoretical support for the design of function teaching cases.In the fourth part,based on the perspective of HPM,two groups of teaching cases are designed by selecting the logarithm of high school as the research content,and the concrete implementation process and result analysis of case teaching are given.The fifth part,carries on the experimental research,divides into the investigation goal,the investigation object and the method,the investigation content,the investigation result.In the sixth part,the author makes a statistical analysis of the research results.The results show that the teaching activities designed from the perspective of HPM can make students feel the charm of mathematics in the process of knowledge construction,and promote students’ understanding of the essence of mathematical concepts.
