In the context of a new curriculum reform, it is necessary to carry out self-study learning and to explore the instructional design of it in mathematics in Senior high school. Self-learning mathematics classroom teaching is an important way. Through self-study, the students can learn the basic knowledge of mathematics, improve the students'learning ability, and guarantee the dominant position of students. At the same time teachers can play a leading role. Self- learning case study is an important platform for enhancing teacher-student interaction. On the basis of the concept of self- learning case study, this paper covers the study design, writing and effective use from the theoretical basis, the meaning and methods of self-learning case study, the implementation and several factors to influence self-learning case study.The purpose of this study is to explore in the new high school mathematics curriculum reform, the effectiveness of teaching self-learning case study and put forward feasible methods. The main methods that this paper uses are literature, surveys, and experiments.This paper mainly includes four chapters. Chapter I defines the concept of self- study learning of mathematics, finds out the relevant theoretical basis and analyzes several factors influencing self-learning case study. Chapter II is about the implementation of the self-learning case studies, focusing on the design of self-learning case study, writing, effective use and two typical instructional designs. On this basis, it also puts forward some basic strategies to improve studens'self-learning ability. In Chapter II, in self-learning case study design, the author analyzes the design of self-learning case study from two dimensions. The first dimension is in the order of pre-class, at class, after-class, while another dimensions is from the learning objectives, learning focus, difficulty, quiz at class, after-school extension, and homework. These two dimensions go alternately. In the typical examples, according to these two dimensions, the author describes in detail the design of self-learning case study. The author also highlights the students'independent study, including homework design, homework content, the fundamental difference with previous homework, and evaluation. Several typical examples of self-learning case study focus on the design of the concept class and the formula class.Chapter III is about experimental study and analysis of the results. Chapter III is the teaching experiment designed to test whether the case of teaching mathematics self-study learning can stimulus the students'enthusiasm to learn math and improve their consciousness to learn and improve their interest in learning, and can promote the cultivation of conscious learning habits, and also check whether the students'grades have been really improved and whether the students really play a dominant position in learning. Through the contrast performances of Experimental Class and Comparison Class before and after the experiment, and also through the survey of the students in the Experimental Class, the author gets a conclusion that this method is feasible. In the experiment there exist some problems. For example, some students are passive at class and are not willing to cooperate with the teachers. A few students haven't been used to the new life of high school and nor are they used to the new self-learning teaching method. In addition, because the author's level is limited, the promotion of experimental results needs to be further explored. Chapter IV is about teaching reflection and evaluation about it.
