On March 8,2018,General Secretary Xi Jinping participated in the deliberation of the Shandong delegation at the First Session of the 13 th National People's Congress.He pointed out: "Agriculture is rich,rural beauty is not beautiful,and rich peasants are not rich.It determines the quality of a well-to-do society and the quality of socialist modernization." Rural issues are related to the overall development of the party and the country's development.Education in rural areas is also the key to solving rural problems.In particular,strengthening ideological and political education among rural middle school students,raising their ideological awareness,and guiding them to establish a correct "three outlooks" are of great significance to the development of the countryside and the construction of the country.Because rural middle school students are the future and hope of the countryside,they are the country's successors and builders.However,today's society is an open?inclusive and eclectic stance.Foreign cultures?Western values and varied trends of thought are flowing into China.They slowly spread in rural areas,affecting the values of rural middle school students,plus schools and families.In order to further clearly understand the problems existing in ideological and political education in rural middle schools,identify the specific reasons for these problems and explore ways to better promote the development of rural middle school ideological and political education,and investigate multiple online and offline ways.This paper consists of four main parts.The first part is the foreword,which mainly explains the reasons for selecting the topic,comprehensively discusses the current situation of domestic and foreign scholars on rural ideological and political education research,and explains relevant concepts.The second part first introduced the survey survey,then analyzed the survey results and found out some outstanding problems in the rural middle school ideological and political education.In the third part,based on the problems found in the foregoing,from the aspects of society,schools,families,and rural middle school students' own factors,the paper comprehensively analyzes the causes of the problems.The fourth part,based on the previous two parts,puts forward the countermeasures to strengthen middle school students' ideological and political education.
