In September 2016,“The Chinese textbook for compulsory education arranged by the Ministry of education”(grand seven)was officially used in nationwide.Compared with the previous versions,there are volumes of differences at reading-aid system in this textbook.There are clear preview reminders in the texts for teaching by teachers and the reading tips in the texts for reading by oneself.On the other hands,there is a new section for knowledge filler.All of these new changes can meet the current education reform and have great significance in making clear of the teaching direction for teachers and developing the abilities of selflearning and lifelong learning for students.This paper studied the writing purposes and the constituent elements of reading-aid system in this textbook,aimed at digging out its value pursuit.Based on the usages of readingaid system for teachers and students,we expected to propose some systematic and scientific strategies maximizing the value of the reading-aid system,which can better benefit the teaching of teachers and learning of students.The following texts will be mainly divided into four parts.Firstly,we made a theoretic discussion for the reading-aid system of this textbook.We defined that the reading-aid system is constituted by four elements including reminders(units reminders,preview reminders,side reminders,reading reminders),notes,images,knowledge fillers,and elaborated its general writing characteristics.Secondly,we made a thorough analysis to the writing contents of elements of reading-aid system of this textbook,mainly focused on the prominent characteristics of this textbook compared with former versions.Thirdly,we drew the conclusions about the situation use of this textbook that teachers can generally realize the improvements of reading-aid system while they cannot dig out the maxim value of it and direct students to learn.As for students,however,they universally have the deficiency of not realizing the importance of reading-aid system and there are some problems in using method of them.Lastly,based on the above study we proposed some systematic and scientific strategies for the use of this textbook that teachers should draw up the teaching targets and contents design teaching strategies and inspire student's interest of learning,referring to the reading-aid system.And that students should talk to the editor and improve literary accomplishments through the reading-aid system,develop the independent and inquiring learning methods according to the reading-aid system and form a effective learning habit,discipline the quality of thought by using the reading-aid system.
