Objective:Cardiopulmonary endurance is not only the constitutional health elements of normal people, but also reflect the physical fitness of disabled people, and the level of cardiopulmonary endurance has a great significance to normal and quality life.Due to the specificity of the disabled population, our country has not yet formed a system for physical examination of disabled people. In this paper,we adopt screening method of physical and mental endurance test methods and evaluation indexes of physically handicapped people, and testing the cardiopulmonary endurance level of physically handicapped people, combining with quality of life scale,to study the relationship between cardiopulmonary endurance and the quality of life of physically handicapped people so as to promote physically disabled people to actively participate in physical exercise and improve their living standards and enhance physical fitness. Methods:This study we recruited 167 people with physical disabilities in Beijing and selected ACSM Elderly Exercise Extensions program and the WHOQOL-DIS Scales for PD scale to measure cardiopulmonary endurance and quality of life in disabled people.Using SPSS20.0 to statistically analyze the subject’s information and test results, the percentile method was used to divide the cardiorespiratory level of the subjects into sample T test was used to compare the differences in quality of life between the two groups of subjects and Spearman correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between cardiorespiratory endurance and quality of life and the relationship between cardiorespiratory endurance and quality of life was established using linear regression.Results:(1)As a result of theory of screening, there are differences between the quality of life of disabled elderly people with different sexes, regions and economic conditions(p<0.05);(2)There are differences in cardiopulmonary endurance levels between disabled elderly people with different sex(p<0.05),and cardiopulmonary endurance levels are higher in men than in women;(3)Cardiopulmonary endurance levels are moderately correlated with quality of life,r=0.673.(4)The quality of life formula is speculated by cardiorespiratory endurance level:Score=84.66+22.36 VO2max+3.59gender(Male:1,Female:2)Conclusion:(1)Physical and mental endurance levels of disabled elderly people with physical disabilities are lower than those of physically healthy people;(2)Gender,economic level and physical exercise have an impact on the quality of life of physically handicapped elderly people;(3)The level of cardiorespiratory endurance and the quality of life are moderately correlated. The higher the level of cardiorespiratory endurance, the better the quality of life. |
