With the continuous development of the times, primary school teachers are needed in this era.General-subject teachers are common in many primary schools in developed countries, but our country has only attracted attention in recent years, especially in China's rural primary schools. As a large agricultural country,China has an important mission to cultivate talents in rural education. To understand the survival and development of rural primary school teachers is beneficial to find out the current problems or difficulties faced by rural primary school general-subject teachers, and put forward corresponding countermeasures in view of the problems, which is of great significance for the development of general primary school teachers in rural primary schools. However,at present, there are few studies on the general-subject teachers in rural primary schools. Most scholars focus on the training of general-subject teachers of primary school, but few scholars have been involved in the survival and development of rural primary school teachers. The survival and development of primary school teachers in rural primary schools have a direct impact on the quality of education and teaching in rural schools and the overall quality of teachers. Therefore, considered with a view to the development of rural education, this study begins with the survival and thriving of rural general-subject primary school teachers and investigates the survival state and their professional development of the general-subject primary school teachers of 12 primary schools in Hubei province to have a view of their basic information, survival state and development in the methods of questionnaire survey, literature analysis and interview. The result is to find out the problems as well as the influencing factors and put forward pertinent strategies and suggestions by collecting data, analyzing data.Through the investigation, the following problems are found: firstly,The gender ratio of teachers in rural primary schools in 12 schools in Hubei province is not coordinated;secondly, the majority of rural primary school teachers feel more pressure in their daily life, especially the work pressure and economic pressure, which is mainly caused by the work environment and social status;thirdly, the rural primary school teacher's amateur life is not rich enough.Too many work tasks affect the teachers' spare time,so that teachers can only have a single leisure activity in their free time, such as rest, reading, studying and so on;fourthly, the rural primary school teachers have no clear goals and long-term planning in their life, work and study, leading to struggling to cope with or underpowered or not interested, which are needed to be strengthened in their post-job training;fifthly,The training situation of teachers should be improved. At present, the training mode of general teachers in rural primary schools is based on national training, provincial and municipal training, and on-campus training. In addition, teachers' post-job training is affected by time, policy and school;sixthly, the professional knowledge of teachers in rural primary schools is not perfect. Most rural primary school teachers believe that their own professional knowledge updating and modern teaching method system construction needs to be cultivated and advanced. This paper proposes corresponding suggestions and strategies to improve the survival status and professional development of general teachers in rural primary schools from four aspects: government support, social support, school management and self-development of rural primary school teachers. In terms of government support, one is to increase publicity and expand the faculty. The government has formulated relevant supporting policies to attract more excellent teachers into the position.Second,we should attach importance to rural education and guarantee the investment. The government departments concerned about education should pay attention to the general teachers of rural primary schools from the perspective of politics, improve the salary treatment of teachers in rural primary schools and increase the funds for basic construction.Third, improve the training system and improve the quality of teachers. The government should provide targeted post-service training system for general teachers to create opportunities for them to improve their abilities. In terms of social support, one is to improve social status and enhance teachers' confidence.Use the means of network propaganda to allow all walks of life to accept the job of rural elementary school teachers;Second, ensure family education, lighten the burden of teachers.Parents should not blindly rely on the school education, should pay attention to their children's family education.Third, students should learn to respect, improve the teachers' sense of accomplishment.Students treat the attitude of the teachers directly affect the teachers' psychological change. In school management, one is to strengthen the construction of teaching facilities to meet the teaching needs of teachers;Second, improve the evaluation and incentive mechanism to improve teachers' professional identity;Third, implement that people-oriented management to guide teachers to formulate plan;Fourth, provide post-job training opportunities to promote the professional development of teachers. In its own development: the first is to stimulate the internal impetus.Create an environment that can be autonomous, let the inner goal lead to the inner heart, and make teaching work as fun;Second, improve professional competence. All teachers in rural primary schools should have a lifelong learning awareness, and do not give up all opportunities to improve their professional competence.Third, strengthen peer communication. To establish a good cooperative relationship between teachers and each other's professional development; The fourth is to have reflective consciousness.Learning to reflect is the ladder for teachers' progress and an important way for teachers to make progress.Through introspection, teachers' professional quality and comprehensive level can be continuously and gradually
