Left-behind children's mental health,quality of life,education and other issues have been widely concerned by the community.This study starts from the study of left-behind children and aims to understand the basic situation of academic delays and time management of left-behind pupils in rural areas,explore the relationship between academic procrastination and time management,and screen out left-behind primary school students with severe delay and use self-time management training.Conduct time management counseling interventions to improve primary school students' self-time management skills and to improve procrastination behaviors so as to lay the foundation for the individual's future success and development.This study investigated Dengjiapu Town Central Primary School in Wugang City,Hunan Province,and randomly selected 700 primary school students from the fourth to sixth grades of the school as subjects.Through the questionnaire survey,the "Study Delay Scale" compiled by Lay and the"Time Management Disposition Scale" compiled by Professor Huang Xiting were used as research tools to conduct pre-tests,mainly investigating the current situation of academic delay and time management inclination of rural left-behind pupils,and the two The relationship between them;Second,according to the results of the questionnaire survey,40 students with low time management skills and severe academic delays were screened for time management intervention training in rural left-behind primary school students,helping them to improve their academic performance from the perspective of time management.Procrastination.Based on the results of this study,the following conclusions were drawn:Conclusion 1:There is a significant difference in the time management of rural left-behind pupils and non-left-behind pupils.The time management level of rural left-behind pupils is significantly lower than that of rural non-left-behind pupils;Conclusion 2:There are significant differences in academic delays between left-behind primary school students and non-left-behind primary school students.The degree of academic delay of rural left-behind pupils is significantly higher than that of rural non-left-behind pupils;Conclusion 3:There is a significant negative correlation between the academic delays of primary left-behind pupils in rural areas and their time management trends.Conclusion 4:Time management group training can effectively improve the time management of left-behind primary school children in rural areas and improve their severe academic delays.
