| A lot of dyslexic students were already studying in the general school.They suffered misunderstanding and even discrimination by the teachers and other students owing to the underachievement at school.Therefore,some studies of the pedagogy and the psychology have focused on the dyslexic students,which was based on their circumstances in the general primary school.Based on the previous studies,this one applied case study and combined with survey,interview,observation and other research methods,which was mainly to study reading abilities of the dyslexic students in the general primary school.Firstly,one class three grade 4 of a boarding general primary school was selected to be the target class,which was from rural area.Then we performed the reading comprehension tests and vocabulary test,and filled into scale form.According to the form,we selected the dyslexic students whose learning performance was lower than the standard values.After analysis of the standardized or nonstandardized results which we get from the above scale form and combined the observation and interview,we drew the conclusions as follows:There were statistically significant differences of the reading ability between the dyslexic students and the normal students.The reading ability of the normal students was higher than the dyslexic in pronunciation,writing,and spelling skill.There were less literacy,more difficult in identifying Chinese characters,more difficult in differentiation and analysis of the polyphone and characters with similar form in dyslexic students than in normal students.Also,the dyslexic students were more difficult in understanding of the sentences or articles.The reason of the dyslexic were omnifarious,and mainly in lack of morphological awareness,phonological awareness,semantic awareness and rapid naming. |
