The word "learning disability" is not strange to most people. Quite a few students have learning disability, whether from childhood to primary school, middle school even to university period, or from obligatory courses to elective courses. But it goes against the concept of quality education and learning to study we advocate. What's more, it affects normal teaching and wastes education resources seriously.How to help these students is always a difficult problem that we educational research workers, teachers and parents badly need to solve. In order to improve these students' learning state, many scholars, at home or from abroad, have been doing much research into it. But comparatively speaking, domestic research into it is more or less stagnant, and the theory system is not perfect enough.Learning disability is more obvious in chemistry teaching. The characteristics of the subject, which is that new concepts appear more than other subjects in a short time and its knowledge is relatively abstract and so on, make learning disability affect chemistry teaching more. Therefore, it is more necessary to do research into learning disability of chemistry. Fortunately, many chemistry educational workers, who have realized that learning disability has a serious effect on chemistry education, have started to do research into learning disability of chemistry and they have made some progress. But having made a comprehensive survey of these research, I find that they just remain on theory level generally. Few researchers combine itwith concrete practice in chemistry.In view of that, I decide to do research into concrete practice in chemistry to search for the cause of chemistry learning disability and the strategies to solve it. According to the characteristics of chemistry itself, I'll do the research in three aspects, reading on chemistry, chemistry calculation, and nature of matter and its conclusion.Intellectual level, learning adaptability and thinking way of the students with learning disability will be investigated and analyzed in the research. Thus we can understand the students' problems in intellectual factors, psychological characteristics, attribution training and so on. It will provide us with necessary guide of taking proper intervention measures on learning disability in chemistry in the future..
