Health is a prerequisite for the advancement of preschool children's physical and mental development.It is also the motivation for preschool children to enjoy the game and effective learning.Therefore,health is of great importance to preschool children.Health education is an important way for preschool children to obtain health.The health education level of teachers directly affects the effectiveness of health education activities.In the current situation of vigorously developing preschool education in rural areas,whether the level of competence of rural kindergarten teachers in health education can meet the requirements for the physical and mental development of young children needs our attention.In view of this,the study investigated the health education competency status of rural kindergarten teachers in Gansu Province.This study used questionnaire surveys and interviews to investigate the health education competency of 227 rural kindergarten teachers and administrators in Gansu Province.The study found that the health education activities carried out in rural kindergartens were generally generalized and mainly focused on safety education activities;the health education knowledge of teachers was insufficient,and the level of health education competency was relatively weak;the level of teachers' health education competency did not follow the age of teachers.Increase with the increase of teaching age and professional titles.In order to explore the causes of this phenomenon,the researcher considers teachers' factors: teacher's specialty,academic qualifications,whether or not to change jobs,age,self-efforts,kindergarten factors: managers' management level,park training,hardware conditions,guidance for parents.The three dimensions of the quality of college-related courses have analyzed the factors that affect the level of teachers' health education competency.According to the research results,six suggestions were put forward to improve the competency level of teachers' health education: first,change their concepts,enhance their knowledge,and improve their professional quality and curriculum management;second,carry out various forms of training activities and improve Third,clarify the professional needs of teachers in transition,and strengthen the targeted training;Fourth,take a variety of measures toimprove the hardware and equipment of kindergartens;Fifth,strengthen health education activities through various means.The homeland cooperation in the middle school;Sixth,the curriculum should be set up reasonably to strengthen the cultivation of preschool students' health literacy.
