The newly published "Primary School Science Curriculum Standard for Compulsory Education" in 2017 pointed out that the main aim of primary school science education is to cultivate students' scientific literacy,therefore,the instructional design and implementation of science courses are the key factors to improving students' scientific literacy.However,through the questionnaire survey,the author found that there are some common problems in the teaching status of rural primary schools.For example,primary school science teachers are weak;Teaching methods are traditional;Insufficient teaching hours;The method of teaching evaluation is too old and monotonous.These factors will inevitably lead to the low scientific literacy of students.Therefore,This study selected L rural primary school grade five science courses as the research object,using the project teaching to carry on the experiments research of the tricycle iteration,in order to change the rural primary school science teaching status and improve students' scientific literacy,at the same time,It also puts forward some feasible application strategies for the design of teaching activities in rural elementary schools.This article is mainly about project teaching to optimize the design and application of science teaching activities in rural primary schools.the thesis is divided into five parts,the main contents are as follows:The first part is the introduction.This paper introduces the research background and the questions raised,expounds the purpose,significance,content,methods and ideas of the research,and clarifies the basic structure of the paper.The second part,literature review and theoretical basis.The author through the consult with the project teaching,scientific literacy and teaching activity design related data,the three aspects respectively expounds in detail about the present situation of its research,and put forward the research direction of this q;At the same time,the important concepts involved in this research are elaborated in detail to provide theoretical support for the follow-up research.The third part,the preliminary design of the project teaching in the rural primary school science teaching activity.To the countryside elementary school science lesson teaching present situation,the characteristics of primary science and scientific literacy,the elephant version of primary school on book of science teaching materials in grade five,and the characteristics of rural pupils are analyzed,and on this basis,the prelimimary design of the project teaching activity was carried out.The fourth part,the project teaching optimization rural elementary school science teaching activity design practice.This section is the core part of the paper,through sufficient theoretical analysis and preparation,the author himself in the elementary school science teaching practice for tricycle iteration,and in each round of iteration practice reflection and improvement.In tricycle iteration processes,the author earnestly the classroom observation,let the students fill in scientific experiments schedule and record,student interview results and collect each group's project work.Based on the analysis of the results of practical research,The author mainly uses scientific knowledge test,questionnaire and interview of some students to test whether students' scientific literacy is improved,Finally,experiment research of the tricycle iteration are summarized.The fifth part,research summary,deficiency and prospect.This section mainly summarizes the research results,and at the same time put forward some deficiencies existing in this research process,finally also hope that the general education workers in this research to make a further research in the future.
