The Study On Rough And Tumble Play Of Senior Group On The Playground

Rough and tumble play is more popular in Senior Group on the playground,and it is also the favorite game for majority children.This study focus on rough and tumble play of senior group on the playground,Two methods which includes observation method and interview method are used.The game behavior of the children in the outdoor is observed in the natural environment,the information of the children interview and the teacher interview is collected.Based on those information,the data analysis and typical cases appear in the paper.The main body of paper involves four parts.The first part analyses the whole survey of rough and tumble play on the playground.The game had the following characteristics: the game lasting time is 2-5minute;highest frequency in army area and free time;mostly occurred four people: boys is more than girls;the main type of rough and tumble appears in the same time.The second part,the category about rough and tumble play of senior group on the playground is discussed.There are accidental and heterogeneous rough and tumble play and diversified rough and tumble play combines other games' features.This part is different from the other research before and is also innovative in the study.The third part contains the whole courses of rough and tumble play:the children behavior of game on,game brought and game over.The forth part is about the positive and negative reviews of rough and tumble play.Based on the findings,considered the situation of the kindergarten that researcher ever worked as an intern and teased out the problems in the rough and tumble play in the playground.And above all,the phase about the site density,the game materials,the large-scale toys and social environment is analyzed in the study.summarizes corresponding and operable strategies.The kindergartens should optimize outdoor environment,provide the safe and rich game materials,remove hidden space of the large-scale toys and improve teachers' professional skills.which helps us resolve the safe problems when children enjoy themselves in rough and tumble play out of doors.
