In recent years,with the continuous reform and development of the music education in China,especially after the aesthetic education is included in the national education policy,music teaching in the comp.As an approach and important component of the national quality education,music education is a form of art,and it an expression art of sound as well.It can edify sentiment,make people find beauty,feel beauty and create beauty,thus to improve people's aesthetic and humanistic quality,and lay a foundation for promoting the development of students' quality education.A good foundation is set for their later development.As an important part of the quality education,music education has an irreplaceable role in the compulsory education stage,which lays a solid foundation for the cultivation of students' growth and development.With the formulation and implementation of the 2011 edition of the Music Curriculum Standard for Compulsory Education by the Ministry of Education,,the music education in junior middle school has also developed rapidly and achieved good results.However,in the overall situation,music teaching in the compulsory education stage is lagging behind,for example,the content of music teaching is rigid,the teaching method is too simple and single,the teaching concept is relatively backward,teachers' levels are not balanced,the infrastructure is not fully equipped and so on,which can not make teachers give full play to the unique function of music,restrict the effectiveness of music teaching,and affect the all-round development and growth of the students.So the author believes that it is necessary to systematically investigate and study the current situation of music education in the compulsory education stage,and put forward relevant solutions to the related problems found in the investigation,and provide a case study for the deepening the reform of music education in junior school.There are 485 schools at all levels,78,900 students and 6,363 full-time teachers in Jingning.there are also 148 cultural relics,such as Yangshao Culture,Majiayao Culture and Qijia Culture,and the Memorial Hall of Mao Zedong's Old Residence in Jieshipu is included in the national patriotic education base.The author has selected five representative junior middle schools to investigate the current situation of music teaching in the compulsory education stage of Jingning County.Through field interviews,exchanges,questionnaires,and going to the classrooms in person,the author made an in-depth introspection of the present situation of music teaching and the status of the teachers in the compulsory education stage in Jingning County.In order to improve the music teaching in the stage of compulsory education in Jingning County,we put forward some suggestions on how to improve music teaching of the compulsory education stage in Jingning county,which will help and improve music teaching in compulsory education stage,and play an important role in the quality education of music.
