Reading teaching has always been an important topic in language teaching.Many scholars,experts,and front-line teachers have been studying and exploring the way of reading teaching,and have achieved many successes.However,looking at the current Chinese reading teaching classroom,there are still many problems.In order to enrich students' language learning materials,promote the development of students' rational thinking,and enhance their aesthetic and aesthetic qualities,some teachers have turned their attention to reading in group literature.The author finds that behind the development of group reading,few people have studied the implementation of group reading in the Chinese language classes in middle schools.More attention has been focused on primary school Chinese classes.Therefore,this dissertation focuses on the teaching of novel texts in Chinese textbooks for middle school students.It is supported by related reading teaching theories of group reading and discusses both theory and practice.Firstly,the origin of the study and the main issues in the study of the thesis are elaborated;then the core concepts of the group reading are defined,and compared with the “subject reading”,and the teaching value and significance are further clarified.The construction of the text and its use in the teaching of novels provided corresponding theoretical support;secondly,two secondary schools in the vicinity of the university city were investigated to investigate the current status of the teaching of novels in middle schools,and the problems were sorted out and summarized;To study the specific use of group reading in novel teaching,according to the existing literature and related research,the first step in the theoretical implementation of the instructions,and then take the novel in the middle school language textbooks as an example,for the previous investigation found The problems,combined with the principles and methods of reading teaching in middle schools and the corresponding reading teaching strategies,were usedto design the teaching of group reading.
