Employment is the foundation of the people's livelihood.The employment situation in a country is not only the basic of the people's living and survival,but also the most important part of state's economy.Compared with the eastern and central regions,the western region of our country shows more exceptive features.The economic development there and the industrial structure is more backward.People live there generally hold more conservative thoughts and the region shows less attraction to employees because of its poor resources.The unique environment set more difficulties to improve the situation of regional employment.Which factors influence the employment most? Is there any other special factors which also have impact on the situation of employment besides the economic development?We focus on the influence of various factors affecting the employment level of Shaanxi area and choose Shaanxi province as the representation of western region.First,make sure that which factors can have impact on the employment of Shaanxi province and how those factors works.Then take the actual situation into consideration and clarify the relationship between factors and employment of Shaanxi Province.And then we can extract the most important factors by using principal components analysis and make it clear about which factors has the most significant impact.Finally,we use the main factors above and the actual employment level to find out the most important factors with linear regression.Based on conclusion above,we can give some advice to government on how to improve the employment exactly on Shaanxi province and furthermore we can use these model to guide the policy making on employment at western region.
