The problem of Over-learning is a hot topic of education in the public in recent years.It is a contest between the Quality education and Exam-oriented education,throughout the whole stage of Elementary education,Over-learning violates the Education Rules,and it's also deviates from the laws of physical and mental development of youngsters.It will cause a series of negative effects on students:detrimental physical and mental health growth of students who still in development;inhibit interest in learning and the development of innovative thinking;impede the reform of Quality education,failed to meet the students'needs of overall development and personality development;meanwhile,it's also not conducive the social development of students.This paper through the method of literature analytical,cases analysis and textual analysis,focus on the outstanding performance of students' Over-learning during the Elementary education,and try to sum up the representation of Over-learning.Through the study,it is found that Over-learning is shown in the time dimension as untimely learning and overspeed learning.And,in the content dimension,Over-learning is characterized by surplus learning,difficult learning and excessive repetition of learning.There are many reasons for the phenomenon of Over-learning of students at the stage of Elementary education.First of all,as a subsystem of society,it will be influenced by the concept of external cultural values,it has a colse relationship with Utilitarianism and "Officialdom is the natural outlet for good scholars" of ancient China.Secondly,the learning situation of the students will also be restricted by the current educational system,at present,the single entrance examination system and the employment system with only academic credentials also hamper students'learning behavior,which is the institutional root that leads to students' Over-learning.Thirdly,in fact,there are many educators who lack the knowledge of professional education,and there are also many parents who has the exorbitant expectation for they childrens.In order to solve the problem of Over-learning in Elementary education,it is necessary to deal with the problems from many aspects.At the conceptual level,we need to create the right social value orientation,provide time and space for children's growth;and,return to the beginning of the heart,and implement the concept of Quality Education.At the level of institutional policy,we should promote the fair distribution of educational resources,reduce the competition for higher education due to school choice;build a "development oriented"education evaluation system;and,setting up a multi-level view of talent and improving the mode of selecting and employing people.At the level of educators and stakeholders,teachers should accurately grasp the role of the role and strive to improve the professional quality;meanwhile,parents should correct their attitude and improve their educational attainment,intended to give their children emotional and loving care.
