In recent years,with increasing perfection and improvement of art courses,aesthetic education in middle schools has been playing an important role in the improvement of student's accomplishment and aesthetic judgment,but also promotes students' all-round development.However,overall,aesthetic education is still a weak link of school education.Many schools fail to have proper understanding of aesthetic education's function.They are affected by the evaluation system,and focus excessively on academic achievement,exams,competitions and the minority,but neglect accomplishment,popularity and the entire group.Phenomena like slighting over,occupying and even stopping aesthetic education lessons still exist.The resource allocation of aesthetic education is not up to standard and there is a large shortage of the teachers.While there are some schools which attach great importance to aesthetic education,but unavoidably they are affected by utilitarianism and pursue the honor and prestige things to recruit art specialties and form high-level art troupes to participate in various performances and competitions so as to win honors for the schools.However,in schools,the students' universal aesthetic education activities are still lacking,and the students' artistic accomplishment has not been improved as a whole.Middle school students' association is a cultural phenomenon in middle schools,which refers to the students' organization established by students themselves or founded with the support of the school according to their interests,hobbies,specialties and other aspects in common after being approved by relevant departments of the school.It is one of the important organizational forms of self-management,self-development and self-education.The aesthetic education function of middle school students' association just makes up for the shortcomings of the lack of education in the humanistic accomplishment of some schools,which is conducive to the improvement of aesthetic ability of middle school students.From the study of the aesthetic education function of middle school students in China,the association can create specific situations of aesthetic activities,has a free state of mind suitable for aesthetic creation,can cultivate the good quality of aesthetic sublimation and provide good opportunities for aesthetic practice.However,in terms of the function of aesthetic education practice among middle school students in China,the association has defects like formal,procedural and simplified aesthetic activities and management difficulties in the process of aesthetic education function playing.Therefore,taking Zhengzhou Foreign Language Middle School as the research object,through deep investigation,questionnaires and interviews,the author studies and analyzes the following questions: does the function of aesthetic education of middle school students' association come into play ? How does it play and to what extent does it play? This study is expected to give full play to the aesthetic education function of middle school student associations,make more teachers and students care about the improvement of aesthetic accomplishment,and contribute to the cultivation of all-round development proposed by China.
