According to incomplete statistics,the number of people with autism in the world continues to rise every year,and the number of people with autism in China has exceeded 10 million,among whom there are more than 2 million children aged 0-14,and the prevalence rate has increased in recent years.Autistic children cannot properly express their own needs,which easily leads to a series of social problems.Autism can't be cured,only intervention and guidance can be carried out.As a social worker,the author went deep into a middle school in Shenzhen,carried out extensive visits and interviews,and took the small z of high-functional autistic children in a middle school in Shenzhen as the research object to explore the problem of peer communication of high-functional autistic children.guided by social learning theory and cognitive behavior theory,the author used the method of case work to intervene in the peer communication of high-functional autistic children,found out the problems of peer communication obstacles and surrounding environmental factors in the service process,and worked out a scientific service scheme according to the actual situation of the case owner,supplemented by indirect intervention and direct intervention,and effective help cases.According to the practical exploration carried out by the author to improve the peer communication ability of high-functional autistic children,this paper summarizes the experiences and lessons in the practical process,and finally puts forward three suggestions to help high-functional autistic children improve their peer communication ability from various angles: first,the school should attach importance to the popular science education of autism and related diseases,pay attention to the normal communication of peer groups,and establish the communication and coordination mechanism with parents;Second,autistic families should encourage their children to actively associate with their peers,make their children receive regular treatment and pay attention to their inner world.Third,school social workers should regularly provide services in mental health and peer communication to create a healthy campus environment and nip in the bud.
